On the day of the wedding, he rejected her and to assure Veda that he doesn’t have any feelings for Elowyn he gladly made her think that he wanted to reconcile. Only for him to stab her with his own hands.

It was then that everything went wrong. The moment that she threw herself over the cliff was the very moment that he and Adolf both felt the soulmate link.

It was so strong that they both couldn’t even mistake it for anything.

Watching her fall, laughing hysterically as she called him a murderer, he knew that he had messed up.

At the same time, Adolf smelled and sensed the faint breath of the children that Elowyn was clamoring he had murdered.

To think that she was pregnant, Hilary felt that it was all a lie. He didn’t know how he returned to the pack and how he got through that night, but the next day, he went to the clinic, where he found the healers who proved that Elowyn was pregnant with twins.

When he learnt of that, the pain was unbearable, but he held onto the hope that she was out there alive. After all, the tethering hadn’t been fully cut. He secretly sent his warriors without Veda’s knowledge to search for Elowyn, but to no avail, she wasn’t found. Except for the bag of clothes, he used to lure her to the cliff, nothing of her remained.

After three months, he finally felt it. The pain of the link being ruthlessly severed.

It was worse than what he felt the night she fell off the cliff.

It was so painful. Surprise took him. That was the kind of pain that was only felt when a mate was dead and gone. Very forceful and the impact very deep, as if the Moon Goddess would be trying to make the other mate feel that the other half was no more.

When he thought about how she died and was no longer in the world, Hilary felt pain all over his body.

‘How was she surviving these three months?’ he painfully thought, tears streaming down his cheeks. Completely unaware that his tears were manifesting in reality.

Veda watched with terror as the man who was strong as an ox was crying. She didn’t know why he was crying, and that pained her more.

“Do something!” she yelled at the healers, feeling frustrated. She was having a bad premonition about all this and she didn’t like it at all.

However, how could the healers do anything when this was a case that rendered them useless?

Anyway, to put the Luna at ease. They could only do their best to calm the Alpha down.

“Howl!”

However, in the process of calming him down, Hilary suddenly snapped his eyes open and the healers backed away in fear upon seeing the murderous glint in his eyes.

Veda, on the other hand, sighed with relief upon seeing him awake. She scurried forward with a relieved smile, saying, “Hilary, are you fine? How do you feel?”

But the man didn’t glance at her before he shifted right away in front of everyone into a black wolf before dashing out of the room, leaving everyone dumbfounded by the sudden shift.

Seeing him dashing away, Veda furiously glared at the useless beta and warriors who let her husband leave like that and yelled, “Aren’t you going to find him for me?”

And everyone hurried outside to search for their Alpha.

However, Adolf was very fast. He ran so fast, maneuvered anyone who wanted to stop him and ran all the way to the cliff where Elowyn was last seen.

Standing at the cliff with the moon shining over him, he raised his head and howled mournfully that it spread wide and far.

A certain elder in the Whitecrest pack heard that howl and shook his head dejectedly as he mumbled, “It’s too late for any regrets. The destiny is no more!” before stepping into the wooden cabin where a cheerful voice greeted him.

“My love, aren’t you going to help?”

But the elder simply smiled as he shook his head and said, “It’s not our turn to intervene. Moreover, don’t you think that he deserves it?” and let out a chuckle.

The cheerful voice sounded from the dark and said, “Indeed, it’s none of our business. Then come over here. Don’t you owe me?” the voice sounding very sultry, the elder gulped hard before dashing towards the darkness. Completely putting aside, the matter of the Alpha.

What did his heartbreak have anything to do with him?

Days passed, and Elowyn was adapting to her new life in the middle of nowhere.

Finally having the power to do what she couldn’t do before; she was feeling very much alive.

With Hazel by her side, she found herself getting stronger and having more motivation to train herself hard.

There wasn’t anyone to disrupt her from her training, and Hazel was very supportive. Perhaps it was because the other party wanted something from her, thus encouraging her to be strong. However, she found that very encouraging and motivating.

Her training for the moment wasn’t as cruel as she thought it would to be honest. Perhaps her path was different from other supernatural beings.

As a seer, she was born to see visions, interpret them and use what she sees to avoid disaster and help those that she should.

Being able to see visions and interpreting them wasn’t that easy, to be honest. Ever since she started the training, she hadn’t yet received any vision but was busy absorbing all the knowledge as best as she could. After all, without understanding how to interpret what she sees, what would be the point of getting any visions?

Besides, there was one thing that she learnt while training. Having a vision is a prelude to disaster. So, at times, not getting one was a good thing.

However, she couldn’t help but feel panicked. After all, her seer ancestor was very good, a prodigy, but she was taking so long. She didn’t want to be slow when so much was at stake.

One day, Hazel came back from one of her outings and brought a bag full of herbs. As a witch, Hazel loved playing with all sorts of potions. That was something that she didn’t understand, to be honest, but whenever she had time, Elowyn loved listening to Hazel explaining all kinds of uses of the potions that she always makes.

After her arrival, Hazel went to her cave, leaving Elowyn to her business.

“I will come and join you in a moment!” Hazel called out as she waved her hand at Elowyn while passing.

At that moment, Elowyn was sitting cross legged in the middle cave enjoying the rays of moonlight entering through the cracks.

“Sure!” Elowyn smilingly nodded before closing her eyes, returning to her meditation state.

However, instead of her mind being steady and calm, it started feeling as if there were stars right in front of her, and it made her feel dizzy. The sensation wasn’t very good at all.

“Darn! Who feels dizzy and sees stars when eyes are closed?” she cursed as she snapped her eyes open, finding her situation a bit too insane for her to keep her sanity.

However, the moment her eyes opened, her jaw dropped to the floor upon seeing where she was.

“Where am I? Am I not supposed to be in the cave right now? Which place is this?” Elowyn shockingly and nervously asked herself out loud, sweat forming on her palms.

“Kayden!” she called out to him, and he nodded at her.Earlier, the Alpha had told her repeatedly to call him by his name without the title. Although she felt uncomfortable at first, after exchanging words a few more times, she found herself calling him like that.Perhaps she adapted pretty well because she used to call Hilary by his name as well. Especially when they were alone.Anyway, that wasn’t the crux of the matter right now. She wasn’t with Hilary anymore but with Kayden.[Doesn’t she look beautiful?] Caesar shamelessly boasted as he groomed himself, and Kayden found himself taking several sneakier glances at Elowyn. She wasn’t wearing any fancy clothes, yet she looked ethereal. His heart couldn’t help but pound.‘Beautiful!’“Um ….. um,” but that wonderful moment was disrupted when Letty cleared her throat exaggeratedly, making Elowyn’s fa

The fear, doubt and many other thoughts. He was lost, but one by one, meeting them made his life pretty much easier. They have been togethe

Elowyn was in a great mood as she looked at the villa she finally settled on after checking the other villas that were currently not in use.To think that Alpha Kayden could build so many villas for his pack members to live in, she could see the love he has for his family, and that alone made her like the man even more.Coming to the Aynor pack, Elowyn always knew that her stay was guaranteed. After all, Hazel had settled everything for her. But in that moment when she was speaking with the Alpha, she couldn’t help but want to do something for herself. She alone understood how badly she wanted this chance. She knew that the Alpha didn’t have any reason to train her or be involved with this mess. That’s why she went down on her knees to beg him for this chance. She wanted him to know her earnestness. Her looks can be deceiving, and that could be deadly. What if no one takes her seriously or simply assumes that she is delicate and couldn&r

“I will have your identification problem solved before the end of the week. So, I might need your details, if you don’t mind.”Elowyn readily gave them. she didn’t even need to give false information at all. however, she couldn’t help but remind him of something.“I am not sure how you will find my name written in the system. If it’s not deceased, then please just have my previous identification reissued, but if it comes out as deceased, then please use Gardner instead of Gregory as my last name,” she firmly said, taking into account that Hilary might have declared her dead. After all, she truly died in some sense that night.Kayden was curious when he heard that. After all, how could a living person be announced dead all of a sudden? So, he asked her directly.“Do you mind telling me about what happened to you? Why do you need to hide and what you want to achieve? You can choose not to say anyt

She was once fooled by Hilary, and she wasn’t going to let another man fool her again.Luckily, she was only here to stay away from trouble and train. She wasn’t here to date and fool around. With her goals firm, she pushed aside her bias towards Kayden. However, he lives his life, which was on him and not her.So, why fuss? With that in mind, her eyes softened as a smile appeared on her face.Unknown to her, her changes were all captured by Kayden. In fact, her scent shocked him. From being sweet to sour suddenly. It was sour briefly and in that short moment, he could sense this strong aversion towards him that he couldn’t understand. Not understanding what her mind was thinking, the sourness vanished, replaced by the sweetness that got him enchanted. If only he could read her mind, then wouldn’t he be stressed?Unfortunately, there was no way to solve this problem. Back to the present, after Elowyn ate her food, she began to focus on Linda.“Where are we going. What is it called?”“Aynor town. It’s a private small town with a reasonable number of residents,” Linda answered cautiously.Elowyn’s eyes lit up when she heard that. She wasn’t particularly fond of bustling places. They made her feel socially awkward. She was more used to staying in secluded places. Perhaps she was influenced by her mother, who took her to stay in the woods for years before she found Hilary, who took her to stay with his pack, which resided in the woods as well.Due to their uniqueness, it was rare for packs to live amongst normal human beings. They might mingle and work with them, but to live amongst them, that would mean increasing the risk of being found out. There weren’t many people who knew about the supernatural. Whilst the leaders knew about it, normal humans had no clue. To avo
