Bryssa chuckled lightly as she sensed what her dear friend might be talking about and hurriedly said, “They are quite efficient, professional and above all, they won’t betray me. They owe me certain favors, and this time, they have no choice but to participate. Something of theirs is currently in the hands of those people. How could they even think about betraying?” laying all the cards on the table.

That answer made Elowyn’s expression softened even further.

“Good! Because it would be a pity if such capable men happen to end up in some unexpected accident,” she softly said but those words sent shivers down the other two’s spines.

How could she threaten softly like that as if she was talking about weather?

Bryssa couldn’t help but sweat for her men as she defended them, “Don’t worry. They are good,” hoping that her dear friend would stop having such thoughts.

Elowyn cast a wink at Bryssa as she responded, “Good. Let’s keep it that way,” before shifting the topic back, “no matter what surprises we will meet when we go there, always remember the reason why are we doing this. No mercy to all sinners and have your fun as always,” a cunning smile appearing on her face.

Upon hearing that, the other two wore smiles on their faces and happily responded.

“Don’t worry. this is not our first rodeo.”

“I have starved myself for a while just for this night. How can I not enjoy?” Lizzy playfully responded, her black pupils flashing red for a moment before turning to normal.

With all of them on the same page, the three discussed other details and in an hour, they came up with several plans just working with the intel that they received.

After doing so, the three went outside to finish what they started but was interrupted with the arrival of Bryssa’s men.

While pitching the tent and preparing to make a quick dish, Elowyn received a call. Upon checking the caller, a smile unconsciously appeared on her face, making the two to smile knowingly as they continued with their work.

It was Kayden calling and she answered the video call happily.

The two of them chatted fervently for more than ten minutes, with Elowyn showing him where she was and how crowded the place was and so forth.

It was more of a check-in call and once it ended, her face was twitching as she complained while throwing herself on the camping chair.

“Damn! This man is truly ….. do you think that he is starting to suspect something?” she asked as she crossed her legs, some doubt in her eyes.

The two girls stopped what they were doing and both rolled their eyes at her.

“If he suspected anything, do you think that he will let you leave that compound?”

Knowing how Kayden was possessive of Elowyn and was like a drum of sour vinegar even when she was with female friends. If he ever learns of what they were doing under the guise of camping trip, they both didn’t dare think of what that hot blooded Alpha would do.

Perhaps he might not stop them but he would make sure that she is well equipped and have a lot of werewolves at her disposal. He was that kind of man.

Upon hearing that, Elowyn scrunched her face as she hmphed at the two knowing that they spoke the truth, but what if?

She shook her head, chiding herself inwardly.

It was not good for her health to overthink. Being distracted at such a time wasn’t too good. She better focus.

With that in mind, she dismissed the topic and started helping her friends to finish preparations.

Around lunch, the three finally had a meal though not satisfactory, but it filled the belly and that what mattered.

After the meal, the three of them started touring all over the place, taking pictures and having a great time.

They even made some friends, and happily shared their past camping experiences.

“You seem to enjoy your camping!”

“Haha, how can we not? Every camping is filled with unexpected experiences. If you are still camping next time, how about we go together? The more the merrier,” Elowyn suggested, her eyes twinkling as she looked at the woman she had clicked with.

The woman upon getting such a sincere invitation couldn’t help but look at Elowyn with fondness and responded, “Sure, since you, my dear friend has invited me, then I, Sara will not turn you down. You camp almost monthly right?”

Elowyn nodded her head as her gaze remained locked on Sara and responded, “yes, its more of a ritual between us friends. You know how busy everyone is nowadays. This is the only time we have to bond and deepen our friendship!”

Upon hearing that, both Lizzy and Bryssa who were chatting with the others looked at Elowyn and nodded, agreeing to her.

“Every relationship needs effort and maintenance. Besides, by doing this, we also get to travel and see places. It’s quite nice!”

Sara chuckled when she heard that and acknowledged the statement, “that’s true. Its like hitting two birds with one stone.”

With friends to talk with, the three friends enjoyed their day. Because they were getting pretty along together, they even partnered up for dinner.

The men were busy with the braai, and the ladies preparing the carbs and salads. There was an endless chat and everyone was having a time of their lives.

When the food was ready, everyone sat on their camping chairs, with plates full of food and there were several cooler boxes with cold beer.

How could one camp without beer?

It was a time to let loose and have some fun without worrying about a lot.

“Cheers! To making new friends!”

Everyone cheered and dinner started on a good note.

There was no such thing as dinner etiquette at a campsite.

They ate, chatted and laughed heartily.

They shared a lot of intriguing stories, and everyone was having so much fun.

“Awooo~” However, at times, there were certain unexpected events that always tend to disrupt the wonderful moments.

“Did I just hear a wolf howling?” Sara asked in a lowered voice as she nudged Elowyn who was busy biting a drumstick, her expression not that vivid.

Elowyn turned to look at Sara puzzlingly and asked, “You heard what?” looking quite confused at what she was talking about.

Seeing Elowyn’s lips covered in oil, Sara chuckled helplessly as she thought to herself, ‘how could she possibly hear it when she is so engrossed?’ a glint flickering in her eyes.

In the end, she gave Elowyn a doting look as she lied without batting an eye, “I was just asking if that food is enough? Do you want more?” pointing to her plate.

When that was said, Elowyn smiled sheepishly at Sara and responded, “The food is delicious and can’t get enough. If you are fool, then I will eat it on your behalf,” not standing on ceremony at all.

That made Sara to laugh heartily, as she found Elowyn quite adorable and much to her liking.

As a result, the matter of the wolf between the two was brushed aside with a plate of food, however, Elowyn’s gaze turned icy as she lowered her head while looking at the food that no longer looked appetizing.

‘You dare get involved in this as well! How bold you are!’

Elowyn generously waved her hand at Sara, understanding how tough it must be for this human.“It’s not a problem. It would have been worse if we haven’t showed up. Now that would have looked like we have just diched the plan and not kept to our promise. Thank you for coming over.”“As long as you find no fault. I am grateful.”After Sara made her own statement, Melinda also got down to hers.“Um, I miscalculated my period days. I was wondering if you have any extra pads or something. Anything for me to pass the night until its morning,” she shyly stated her course, and Sara finally understood why she was acting like that. But there were other campers at the site, why not go to them but to Elowyn?Elowyn didn’t have such thoughts as Sara. After hearing Melinda’s reason, she felt this weird emotion. It kind of reminded her of when she was still by herself in that forest, didn’t

This was simply so ….. ahhh, I hope that we won’t come across such scum in the future!” Lizzy disgustedly spoke, recalling the situation she saw in that basement.Elowyn chuckled as she walked towards the bathroom and answered, “such scum will never disappear. What we can do is continue to strive to eliminate them. If possible, find the real masterminds and rid of them.”Both girls nodded to that and watched as Elowyn stripped herself clean before entering the bathroom.“I think that we should start looking into the law enforcement as well.
