Chapter 9.

Allison’s POV.

I was still seated in my room, deep in my thoughts when I heard a knock.

I didn’t respond immediately wondering who was at the door. When the knocking persisted, I responded.

“Come in.”

A young maid about my age entered and bowed.

“Good day, ma’am. My name is Genesis and I’ve been appointed as your maid” she said with a smile.

She smiled so beautifully that I couldn’t help but smile back in return.

“Alright, Genesis,” I answered with a smile and signaled her to come in.

“The Alpha prince asked me to assist you in getting ready for tomorrow’s party.”

“Oh,” I responded.

“So where do we start?” I asked.

“I have to take your measurements and send them to the pack’s tailor so that a ball gown can be made for you,” Genesis answered.

I stood up to allow her access to take the measurements. She took my measurements and when she was done, she left to give the measurements to the pack’s tailor.
