"What you're asking me to do is….

Simon had started to say, but was cut short.

"What is wrong with my order?" Alan questioned.

Simon lowered his head. He fiddled with his fingers. Alan was putting him in a tight spot.

If he were to make any opposition, he might be thrown out this time for good. He has to remain in the pack no matter what. He has to stay for things to work out just the way he wanted!
