Eugene hadn’t expect to see Becca in his study but he knew it was only because of Tyler.

She looked at both of them.

“What’s happening?” She asked.

Eugene hesitated before answering.

“Tyler was caught committing a crime and I basically gave him a deal. If he doesn’t leave the pack, he will be publicly executed” he explained.

Becca couldn't believe what she was hearing. She stood near the door of Eugene's study, looking between the two men as she tried to process what had just been said.

  • The Rejected Omega's Redemption    Back to the Surface

Becca nor Tyler stood on opposite sides of Eugene's study, staring at each other as the silence grew heavier. Becca could feel Tyler's eyes searching her face, as though he hoped to find something that would explain why she had just told Eugene she had no feelings for him.She knew he was hurt. She could see it in the way his jaw tightened and the way he avoided looking directly at her for too long and somehow, that hurt her too."Is that really how you feel about me?" Tyler finally asked.Becca's chest tightened."Tyler...""No." He shook his head. "Please, don't say my name like that. I want you to answer my question."She looked away, unable to withstand the pain in his eyes. She had spent so much time trying to understand her own heart that she had forgotten how unfair her uncertainty was to the people caught in the middle of it.Eugene loved her. Tyler cared about her. And she was standing between two men, unable to give either of them the certainty they wanted."I don't know wh

  • The Rejected Omega's Redemption    Running Into Danger

Jack had tried everything he could think of to calm himself, but nothing worked. He had spent most of the morning in the library, sitting among shelves of books he had barely looked at, hoping that keeping his mind occupied would stop him from thinking about Mira lying unconscious in the healer's chambers. He was convinced Kaelyn had something to do with what happened to Mira. He had seen the way she behaved around her, the jealousy in her eyes whenever Mira challenged her, and the hatred she tried so desperately to disguise behind her innocent expressions. And yet, everyone was expected to believe that Mira had simply lost her balance and fallen down the stairs.Jack wasn't stupid. He knew a lie when he heard one, and the maid's testimony had done nothing to convince him otherwise. He pushed the book he had been pretending to read away from him and stood up abruptly. He couldn't stay there any longer.Sitting around while Mira lay unconscious, waiting for someone else to uncover the

She stood near the door of Eugene's study, looking between the two men as she tried to process what had just been said.Tyler was going to be publicly executed if he refused to leave the pack? How could Eugene even consider something like that? She had known Eugene was angry about Tyler's presence in the mansion, but she hadn't expected him to take things this far.“Tell me I misunderstood you,” Becca said, turning toward Eugene. “You cannot possibly be serious.”Eugene's expression remained unchanged.“I'm afraid you heard me correctly” he said.Becca stared at him.“You're threatening to execute Tyler?” “I'm giving h

  • The Rejected Omega's Redemption    Different Variables

Seraphina returned to her room with a satisfied smile on her face. For the first time in days, she felt as though she had finally regained control over a situation that had been slipping through her fingers.Kaelyn had become a serious problem.Ever since she had started pursuing Alpha Eugene more aggressively, she had grown increasingly difficult to manage. She no longer listened to instructions, questioned Seraphina's decisions, and seemed determined to do whatever she wanted, regardless of how much damage it might cause to their plans.Seraphina couldn't allow that to continue. They had already sacrificed too much to reclaim their former position in the mansion. Desmond was still imprisoned, their enemies were becoming more suspicious, and every day that passed without progress made their situation more dangerous. The last thing Seraphina needed was Kaelyn making another foolish decision that would expose them all.And now, thanks to Mira's unfortunate accident, Seraphina had foun

  • The Rejected Omega's Redemption    Eugene’s Deal

“I'm telling you, this is a misunderstanding! I wasn't trying to cause trouble. I only wanted to speak to my friend!” He yelled.Tyler pulled against the guards holding him inside Alpha Eugene's study, his patience wearing thin.“Then why were you sneaking around the dungeon?”Tyler clenched his jaw. He couldn't believe he was wasting his time arguing with people who had already decided he was guilty. He had tried to explain himself several times, but none of them seemed interested in listening. His friend had betrayed him, and now he was being treated like a criminal.Wonderful.The study door opened and Alpha Eugene walked inside. Every guard immediately straightened.“Alpha King.”Eugene barely acknowledged them. His attention was fixed entirely on Tyler, who stood between two guards with his arms held firmly behind him.For a moment, Eugene simply observed him.Tyler returned his stare with an expression that made it clear he wasn't impressed.“Leave us,” Eugene ordered. The guar

Max had really not expected Becca to slap him.The sting on his cheek was nothing compared to the shock of what had just happened.Max stared at Becca, his eyes filled with anger.“You actually slapped me” he said.Becca's chest was still rising and falling rapidly.“You called me a whore” she said.“I did not call you a whore” he replied.Becca stared at him in disbelief.“You literally just said—”“I said you were behaving like one!” He yelled.Max's voice echoed through the hallway and Becca's expression hardened.“And you think that makes it better? “You have absolutely no right to speak to me like that” she shot at him.“And you have no right to behave the way you have been behaving!” He retorted.Max took a step closer.“You are engaged to Alpha Eugene, Becca. Yet every time something happens involving Tyler, you are there defending him. You are constantly worrying about him, trying to protect him, arguing with Eugene because of him.”Becca shook her head.“You see a few things

The damp, musty air of the lower corridors clung to Kaelyn’s skin like an unwelcome second layer. The silence in the room was heavier than usual. Eugene stood by the large arched window in his room, one hand resting against the wooden frame, the other clenched into a fist at his side. The moon hadn’t risen yet, but the sky was already darkening, shadows stretching long across the forest. A
