**Scarlett's POV**

“Nobody did anything,” I answered bluntly. Wait, my response might feed his curiosity that what he did actually made me feel something. “What I mean is, I felt nothing.” I said, trying to stop the feeling of guilt that washed over me on realizing how I might have made that guard feel.

“Your lips say you did nothing, but your expression tells me otherwise.” He smirked.

I facepalmed internally. “This is a workplace. I'd appreciate your cooperation in keeping our activity official. After work hours, then we can talk about this.” I dropped the chocolate on his table and was about to leave.

“Stop right there,” He ordered, making me halt in my tracks. I turned, giving him the 'what do you want?' look. “Come over here.” He ordered.

“What for?” I asked.
