Chapter Eight - Two

Hollow Ache:

Satine was pacing nervously across the basement floor waiting for Bronx to come back. She needs more Wolfs bane to ensure if he did wake up he wouldn't be coming up fighting. He was taking far too long; she was going to have to speed this up. She grabbed the vials of liquid wolfsbane and mistletoe and brought it over to Aldric. Satine debated for a second how she was going to do this as she watched his chest rise and fall. She leaned over him and pinched his nose shut. She waited several seconds which felt like minutes and finally his mouth fell open.

Easy enough she thought.

She unplugged the amber vital and began to slowly pour the liquid into his mouth. Lucky for her his body reacted and began swallowing. She could hear the sizzle of it as it hit his tongue. She cringed thinking of what the liquid must be doing to his insides as it made his way down to his stomach. He still didn't react . He was completely numb and in a coma state still.
