Chapter Seventy - Six

Mistake:

Luke’s tires came screeching to a halt in front of the gate. The tires left a long black streak on the pavement. Smoke coming up around the tires. Rhett had already hopped out of the truck as soon as the gate was in sight Rhett.

“Damn it.” Luke grumbled under his breath as he watched Rhett nearly run to the guard shack.

Rhett took long strides marching up to the guard shack. He felt like he wasn't in control of his body. Rhett's heart was pounding so loud in his chest he could feel the vibrations of it in his ears. Jaw clenched shut he pounded on the guard door. The guard slowly opened the door as if he was scared and looked at his Alpha.

“Phone, now.” Rhett said bitterly.

“Yes Alpha. Here.” The man said, fumbling the phone in his hand, the waves of intense emotions coming off of Rhett was making him nervous.
