Chapter 59

Kaden’s POV:

Blinded by rage, I stormed into the room only to be met with a fire-spitting Shantel who was thrashing around wildly on the bed and threatening to hurt herself if anyone came close to her.

As soon as her eyes landed on mine, her expression immediately turned sultry and she moved slowly towards mine like the viper that she was, ready to strike.

“Where have you been?” She said in a hushed whisper, with her eyes locked on mine as if she was trying to see into my very soul.

I immediately began to rethink my reasons for coming to see her in the first place and regretting it at every fleeting second.

This girl is fine, she only just wants my attention.

“I do not see any reason to give you tabs of where I’ve been or what not.” I replied sternly, then changing the topic, I added; “I see you’re better now and unwilling to remain here in the hospital, right?” I asked and she nodded, whilst staring at me like I had something up my sleeves.

And yes I did, I needed her out of my sigh
