Chapter 20: The whimsical restaurant

Amanda was a little confused by William's actions. Unexpectedly, William could snatch her personal phone like that. Or could he feel close enough to do it?

While thinking about this, the car stopped in front of a large, wide-spreading kapok tree, its roots rammed bristly. Amanda was surprised that there was a big tree so close to the road in the heart of the city.
