Saber's POV

"Destroys the foundation? What an exaggeration," the pale white woman rolled her eyes at his words.

"The line you are attempting to cross with your pursuit of Ms. Blackheart is enough to nullify the entire collective agreement of the Constellation's Alliance. Do you honestly claim to not remember the terms? Each royal faction agreed to live as one as long as they retained their own power over their kind with no power above them."

Whispers amongst the others erupted at the implications. Clearly, Saber needed to learn a lot.

"You should mind your tone when you speak to me, dragon." Her icy gray eyes bore into Cadmus's crimson orbs but his low threatening growl silenced the room.

"Before you are two choices, witch. Either drop the one singular charge of escaping lawful detainment, or end your alliance with the fae. The latter inevitably causes war amongst every intelligent species in the human realm. Your choice."

His sister's face had grown almost as pale as the woman threat
