Accepting the Truth

Sergeant Acheki stumbled from the revelation. The pain, agony, and horror this creature went through destroyed a small part of him. He needed to sit down and gather his thoughts. He took a seat and buried his head in his hands. Then beckoned her to follow suit. The scraping of the chair signaled she had taken a seat. When they were sitting opposite each other, he lifted his head and spoke. “So, what you’re saying is this death certificate I found for an Akaisha Lemmings, is it?” He pulled up the file on his watch. The holographic files streamed until they landed on the certificate. He pressed a button to enlarge it so she could see it. “You were born July 29th, and died because of a house fire?”
