Nyxana

“How old are you?” I asked Aedan as I was dying to know his age. He looked so old. And that was disturbing.

“I'm 35 years old, princess.” I almost choked on my spit at his reply. He was what? My eyes widened and I stopped walking.

“You're 35?” I scanned him with my eyes and he slowly nodded his head.

“Yes, Princess. I look younger right?” He smiled at me and I almost cringed to death. I hated his smile, I hated the way he looked at me and I hated him more each time he addressed me as princess.

“Stop calling me that. My name is Nyxana.” I corrected him.

“But you are going to be my princess soon. You know, I would love to address my wife like that.”

“Then get married and do that. Do not call me princess, and I'm not your wife! I'm not going to marry you. Call off the wedding.” I fumed and it pained me that my parents were not listening to me. They just had to call off the wedding. Aedan was not it at all.
