Aurora

After some few days , my wounds were completely healed. The joy of standing in the sunshine again jolted me out of the room. I took a moment to enjoy the ambiance all around me as my skin glowed in porcelain white. From my peripheral vision, I caught some of the she-wolves in the courtyard stealing glances at me while passing through. They quickly dashed as I met their gaze. The few days I rested really brought out the fairness of my skin. “Maybe it’s the portion the healer gave me to drink.” I chuckled to myself. I continued to stroll around around the palace where I met Raven training with other warrior wolves in the gym room.

She was in the process of coaching the others on self defense tactics when she noticed me. Initially, I shuddered and tried to walk away but something halted my movement. “Strong and fierce..” Suddenly I remembered the advice of Cameron yesterday and it dawned on me. “I’m no more anyone’s prey.” Instinctively I faced raven and nodded to greet her. She twisted her lips slightly and nodded back in acceptance.

“Join us Aurora.” She gestured with her hand for me to come closer. I took a deep breath and strode towards her in confidence. The other warriors giggled quietly, but I remained unfazed to be thrown-off by anyone’s snide comments. Raven’s demeanor changed which shuddered them. There was a pinpoint silence as I approached the floor mat.

“Welcome Aurora, luckily you caught us today on one of our training exercises. We are focused today on self-defense tactics.” Raven said to me in a serious voice. She was definitely in her element as one of Darius’ strongest warriors. She had a charismatic aura that earned the fawn of her subordinates and fellow warrior. She had the stance of an a****n lady in her gym wear and yoga pants. Her body shape had toned muscles, yet was proportioned in all the right places.

“Thank you Raven.” I replied in a respectable tone. I knew it was best to keep it formal since her juniors were also in attendance. I didn’t want her to lose face in front of them if I responded to her casually. I bravely stood a step forward and joined the circle-shaped group on the mat while she stayed in the center. I was small compared to the muscular warriors standing beside me, yet I held my shoulders high and listened keenly to her instructions.

“ No matter how big or strong your enemy is, you can always maneuver them with the right moves and tactics.” Raven yelled out. A wave of courage washed over me. Hearing her say this gave me the courage that I can learn to take on anyone without feeling scared again. I watched her closely as she instructed one of her juniors to come out. He was a huge man standing over 6ft 5 effortlessly with broad shoulders and a muscular frame.

Raven was barely above 5ft 7 but there is no sign of fear in her eyes. I squinted and saw her curve her lips slightly to form a grin on her face. He stopped some few inches away from her in the large circle.

“Try to take me down if you can!” She uttered. A wave of panic washed over me. “What if he does, won’t she look weak in front of her juniors?” I mumbled to myself. Yet, as I looked around, there is no sign of panic. Like they all knew the outcome even before it started. I held the tips of my finger and said a silent prayer for Raven not to lose.

The huge man jumped at her with great speed like a greasily bear, his wide arms spread open as he charged at her head on. Yet, she waited just till when he was about to grab her, then she held his forearm around her and in one full swing, slowly threw him over her shoulders. He lost his balance and gasped as he saw himself in the air in a 90 degree position plunged to the mat with his back touching it first.

The whole group cheered and roared in admiration as she playfully helped him back on his feet. They was instant applause and he respectfully nodded to her and proceeded back to his position. She nodded back in acceptance as she resumed her initial stance. His fellow colleagues tapped his head jokingly while he covered it in shame. My mouth opened in awe at what just happened. Raven caught my gaze and called me out.

“Aurora, kindly step forward.” She gestured to me to trust her. The group suddenly became silent as I stepped to the circle. She signaled I stand beside her and imitate her stance. The space between her two feet were perfectly apart. This mounted her legs to the ground firmly making it impossible to unbalance her.

I imitated her stance and tried to balance my feet apart from each other. Raven curved her lips slightly and leaned close to me. “Like this..” She helped me position properly to even the distance of my legs. When I finally stood properly, she walked around me to observe my stance.

“Your body most be balanced perfectly with your feet in an upright position.” She adjusted my lower back, while her second hand was placed on collarbone. She moved them simultaneously to help me stand straight. After this was completed, she stepped back to stare at my overall stance. She nodded in approval.

“With this stance, it will be very difficult for your enemy to charge head-on to take you down. You can easily step back and use their own weight against them.” She tried to push me, but my stance was solid which helped me remain rigid and unwillingly to bulge. The other warriors were in awe over quick learning

“What about me?” A familiar voice asked at a distance. The whole group turned to the source of that voice and it was Darius

Darius“Damon, what’s he doing here?” I asked myself. It wasn’t uncommon for Alphas to visit other kingdoms unannounced. However, due to the last conflict we faced. It has already increased the cold tension between our packs.Meanwhile, I found myself in turmoil. "What were his motives? Could it be about...” I mumbled to myself. Within quick seconds, I slightly loosened my grip of her hands, and she dashed off before I could say anything to her.I watched her retreating figure and took a deep sigh as a beautiful moment was interrupted by none other than Cameron again.“Cameron!” My wolf growled, getting ready to lunge at him. I shot him a dark glare, which took him aback. He immediately knelt on one knee with his head slightly bowed down.“My Alpha, forgive my interruption. I will accept any punishment you give to me.” He said in a serious tone, which took me aback.I stared at him for a few minutes before I managed to restrain my wolf. I took a weary sigh and replied, “You should tie

AuroraLooking at Alpha Darius at the gym brought back all the pain I faced while I was still in Moonfall pack. The constant mind games and manipulations. Constantly treating me like a personal pet.“I know Darius is different, but sometimes he can really push my buttons.” I thought to myself as I saw the smug on his face. He had a cheeky smile which infuriated me more. I didn’t even realize when raven was trying to signal me to greet him. At that moment, I wish I could wipe that smirk off his face. But, I know that was the end of me. I regained my composure and greeted him respectfully. Before he left, he had a puzzled look on his face, like he had no idea what he was saying to me. Suddenly, I felt a tap on my back.“What happened, did something occur between the two of you?” Raven had a befuddled look on her face. I didn’t have the words to express what I felt in my heart. I could only nod my head in denial. Raven could tell there were some things left unsaid but decided to let them

DariusI walked into the palace from my usual morning exercise. As a hybrid Alpha, I don’t really need to do work-outs to keep my self in shape as I genetically have a muscular physique with good metabolisms. I still have to keep my strength and endurance so as not to appear weak to anyone who is willing to challenge me.I was enjoying the humming sounds of the birds in their nests in the trees. It gave me an harminous feeling and relief hearing their beautoful sounds. It really kicked start my day in a happy mood.“Good morning Alpha.” The workers greeted me in unison as I walked past them as I tried to follow the humming sounds.“Thank y'all.” I said with a broad smile on my face. This took them with surprise as they gasped in awe. I wasn’t known to have a warm personality especially among the people who worked in the palace.I tried to remain fair and unbiased while giving them orders. But, I tried not to get too friendly with them. So, when I answered them in a joyful manner they

Aurora“I want you to give yourself to me, not just as my breeder…” I kept pondering on that statement. “What does he mean by that?” I thought to myself. I felt a heaviness in my heart as I continued to think deeper into what he said.“Does he think I’m only with him as his breeder?” I clenched my fists as I continued my sparring session with Raven. Today, she joined me to observe my progress. For the few weeks, I have been training alone to get in shape with my routines, and it has shown in my overall fitness and durability. So I was eager to show all what I have learnt on my own as she has been busy training the new recruits who were formerly rogues into the army. The situation along the border has gotten more intense so everyone is on high alert. Unfortunately, I seemed to be off with my rhtym today. Instantly, I found myself face flat on the ground after a quick manuver she did to me.“You seem distracted today, like you have forgotten all your training. I have gotten report th

AuroraI continued my training drills that she taught me some weeks back. I also noticed my body slowly changing. I no more felt like I was underfed, also during these few weeks I started to feel like myself. My body was toning up nicely, and from the stolen gazes all around the palace. People were also taking notice. “I wonder if he also observed my body changes.” I thought to myself.Just the thought of him alone checking me out made my cheeks turn pink while blushing. I quickly snapped back before anyone caught me. I returned to my stances. I continued practising with my plastic batons, I always came to the gym early, so I felt free stretching my arms and legs in full swings.Suddenly, I threw my arm aggressively in the air. I felt someone catching my baton.“Be careful how you swing it, you might encounter someone.” Darius said in a calm voice. I tried to release my baton from his hand but it proved unsuccessful. This only amused him even more.“I know what I’m doing.” I pouted. W

Damon“Here you are!” I curved my lip slightly. Ember feigned ignorance since the news of the issue with Aurora. I could sense her awkwardness around me as she tiptoed around me.“I dunno what you’re trying to imply, but I only mean that low-life doesn’t deserve all this much attention. It’s best we forget about her once and for all.” Ember said with an unconvincing voice.I looked at her for some few seconds without replying, Finally, I took a weary sigh. “ Aurora means nothing to me, I’ve told you this many times. Clashing with the Silverfang pack right now isn’t beneficial to us.” I told her in a sharp tone. Discussing political objectives wasn’t among the list of things I wished to discuss with her Yet, I found myself doing the exact same thing. My wolf was already exasperated with all the chaos and just wanted us to leave. But, I knew if I stepped out, it will only worsen the entire situation.“I keep saying this to you. YOU’RE MY LUNA!” I snapped. Ember was taken aback, but she
