CHAPTER 27

Aurora

I continued my training drills that she taught me some weeks back. I also noticed my body slowly changing. I no more felt like I was underfed, also during these few weeks I started to feel like myself. My body was toning up nicely, and from the stolen gazes all around the palace. People were also taking notice. “I wonder if he also observed my body changes.” I thought to myself.

Just the thought of him alone checking me out made my cheeks turn pink while blushing. I quickly snapped back before anyone caught me. I returned to my stances. I continued practising with my plastic batons, I always came to the gym early, so I felt free stretching my arms and legs in full swings.

Suddenly, I threw my arm aggressively in the air. I felt someone catching my baton.

“Be careful how you swing it, you might encounter someone.” Darius said in a calm voice. I tried to release my baton from his hand but it proved unsuccessful. This only amused him even more.

“I know what I’m doing.” I pouted. We had a back and forth about holding the baton. It felt more like a power move, the atmosphere became more intense. It was unexplainable, but I just had the zeal not to lose to him no matter what. Yet, it rattled me that he had a smirk expression like this  was nothing but a child’s play to him.

Eventually, he eased his grip and a wave of joy washed over me. Regardless, whether he went easy on me, I didn’t yield to him.

“You have gotten stronger this couple of weeks.” Darius said with a cheeky smile. I averted his gaze with my face red in embarassment. He had a way of looking deeply into my soul which made me weak anytime I’m around him.

“I thought you didn’t notice.” I nervously replied. I could still feel his deep gaze scanning my whole body. It didn’t help I only wore tight gym-wear gear which brought out my new transformed curves. It felt like there was no where to hide or cover myself.

I  bit my lip slightly as I held the tip of my fingers. Seconds later, he walked up very close to me and whispered in my ears.

“I noticed every single detail about you Aurora.” He said as his fingers traced through my frame. There was a rising sensation that I never experienced before. It was burning urge steaming up to the surface.

My body reacted to his every touch and I couldn’t help myself by letting out soft moans. I tried to cover my mouth not to allow it escape, but it already spilled out. I couldn’t help but fathom the thought of looking into his eyes as he witnessed me in a very vulnerable state.

Yet, I still could hear his quiet giggles, like he was pleased with himself. I cursed him silently on why he was pushing my limits. His fingers suddenly traced to my collarbone area around my birthmark.

“I didn’t know you had that this till of recent, does it hurt?” He asked in a concerned voice. I finally found the courage to meet his gaze, suprisingly enough he looked geniunely bothered which I found soothing.

“No it doesn’t, its just a strange mark I had since childhood.I actually thought it was a scar.” I replied back, I also had some questions about it but I didn’t want him to be more disturbed.

“I noticed the other day, it glowed briefly but it did cause you some  inconvenience” Darius slowly responded. I knew he wanted to be thoughtful on his words. Yet, my cheeks turned pink blushing.

“I’m sorry if it unraveled you, It wont happen again.” I said as I tried to leave his space. However, he only drew me closer to him. I gasped in his blunt move without even a moment thought.

Yet, before I could react, he whispered into my ear again. “ Do you think there is anything you can do that will unravel me? The answer is no.” He said in a serious tone.

My heart beat started pacing quickly. “What if people see us?” I mistakenly said it out.I was shocked that I said it out loud. I kept looking around to see if there was an audience, luckily there was none at that moment.

He tilted his head slightly backwards  to see my face. “Let them see us. I don’t care.” Darius drew me closer to him with no space between us. I placed my hand on his chest and I could feel his heart beat moving in a normal sequence like he wasn’t moved.

“You think I don’t see you wearing this tight outfit walking around the palace as free as a bird? I see how the wolves look at you with desire…” His claws firmly placed at my back. It wasn’t to inflict pain, but it only ignited the burning urge in my heart.

“You belong to me and me alone, no one else..” He gently bit the tip of my ear as he whispered into it softly. I could no more restraint myself as I closed my eyes and let go of all my logical senses.

“I’m yours alone, Alpha. My body and heart craves you only.” I replied back in a hoarse voice. I gently leaned back, but his firm grip in my back drew me closer to him till I could feel his breath on me.

“I want you to give yourself to me, not just as my breeder. But as your mate. No one will take you away from me. Don’t you forget that.” He softly said as he pulled away and drifted off. I took a deep sigh and wiped the sweat beaded on my forehead as I watched his retreating figure.

Finally, tried to catch my breath as my heart beat continued to pace rapidly like a storm in my chest.
