After storming out of the guest lounge where Damon stayed, I knew I had to clear the situation before wandering tongues get to Darius’s ears. The last thing I want is for him to have a scandal because of me.

“I’ll never let that happen,” I told myself. Feeling pumped full of courage, I moved straight to his room. Surprisingly, he wasn’t there. He was known to have a high sense of smell which even woke him up from deep sleep.

So when I knocked several times on the door without response, I knew he wasn’t inside.

“Where will he be this early in the morning?” I thought to myself. I took a deep sigh as I searched around the palace.

Eventually, I sighted his muscular figure as he was doing some aerobics with Raven in the gym room. My heartbeat paced quickly, I wiped sweat beaded on my forehead. A wave of anxiety washed over me. Even after seeing him several times, I still skipped a beat watching him in his element. He always looked so strong with a commanding figure.
