Irina: I had to avoid the Alpha’s eyes as the two of us voiced the word ‘Alpha’. He took a step back and I watched as he walked out of the room, leaving me alone, and I sat on the floor as my heart raced against my chest. Irina: I woke up to find myself laying on top of Kai’s bed. I frowned as I pinched the bridge of my nose, trying to ease the headache that I was dealing with despite my sleep. “Good morning,” Kai said, his voice coming out as too loud for my liking.
