"Do you think it would be safe?" Riley asked for the fourth time. Kayla has asked Riley to come along as she was going to show Riley a beautiful pond around here somewhere.
Riley was hesitant to leave knowing how insecure the area was. Last time the death of that rogue still roams her mind. But what she didn't expect was Damon to allow her to go with Kayla just like that.
She was expecting him to throw a fit and stop her from leaving but it turned out in a different direction.
"Of course Riley. Stop worrying. I'm with you. You do realise I'm a werewolf too and also not just any werewolf, I'm Alpha's daughter. A strong one." Kayla said.
"Oh okay." Riley mumbled softly as they walked through the forest. This was her second time out of the cottage. First time was terrific. That's why she was hesitant to go out this time.
