When Nate showed us the underground dungeon, it was a stretch of the word. It looked way nicer than anything I had ever seen. He’d also added fortifications to everything and even added more space where we would have space to set up for information extraction. We hadn’t needed it for a while, but we had used it before.
On the other side of the bars, Nate was curled up in a chair. The way his head rested on his knee and his eyes closed told me he was asleep. How, in that position, I didn’t know. He looked exhausted and pale.
