Book 1: Chapter Forty-Six
The hostility I felt was palpable as Noah and Finn realized it was me who walked through the door. It made the hair on the back of my neck raise and I wondered if I should just turn around now. I could hear Eros chuckling in the back of my head so I just steeled myself by squaring me shoulder and trying to look the Alpha I was.
“I need to speak with her.”
Noah scoffed. “Why the hell should we even let you near her? Your fucking Beta…”
“I know what my Beta did.” I growled at him. “I am also aware they are fated mates and shit hit the fan. Which is why I need to speak with her. She’s not just someone my Beta got involved with. Aelia is my sister.”
Finn smirked and put a hand on Noah’s shoulder. “Sol is up the stairs. It…took a lot out of her yesterday and she’s struggling a bit today.” A sadness washed over his face, one that also flashed in Noah’s eyes as well
