Brynn Hollis' POV

The Cave of Whispers was a wound in the earth.

We found it three days after leaving the Village of Exiles. The Council's messenger met us at the entrance—a wolf in a gray cloak, no mask, but eyes that held no warmth.

"The Arbiter requires you to complete the first trial before the meeting," the messenger said. "To prove your worth."

"I already proved my worth at the bone hall."

"That was negotiation. This is tradition."

Farrah stepped forward. "She's not doing any trial."

  • The Rogue Luna's Revenge    The Wolf Of Sol

Brynn Hollis' POVDawn came too fast.I hadn't slept. The Shepherd's voice echoed in my head, even though she was gone. You're just like me. You'll fail. You'll fall. You'll become the thing you hate.I sat up. Dax was already awake, watching me."You heard her too?""The bond. I feel your fear.""Not fear. Doubt.""Same thing."I touched his cheek. "Not the same. Fear keeps you alive. Doubt kills you slowly."---Vespera waited at the gate.No army. No wolves. Just her, alone, her ash-colored hair blowing in the wind."The second task," she said. "The Wolf of Sol.""Where is he?""Everywhere. Inside you. Inside every wolf who has ever chosen power over love.""How do I fight something inside me?""You don't fight. You accept. You understand. You forgive."I stepped forward. "Then let's begin."---Vespera led me to a cave. Not the Cave of Whispers—something older. The walls were smooth, worn by centuries of wind and water. At the back, a pool of still, dark water."Look into the wate

  • The Rogue Luna's Revenge    Wolves At The Gate

Brynn Hollis' POVThe attack came at dawn. Not from the Silence—he was in chains. Not from Selene—she was in her cell. Not from the Council—the Council was dust. These wolves were different.Larger. Darker. Their eyes burned gold, not red. Their howls were deeper, older, like the earth itself was screaming.Farrah burst into my room."Brynn. The eastern wall. You need to see this."I ran.---The wolves stood at the tree line.Hundreds of them. Not attacking—waiting. At their head, a massive wolf with fur the color of ash and eyes like molten metal."That's not any pack I know," Dax said."It's not any pack," Morwen whispered. She had joined us on the wall, her face pale. "Those are the Ancients.""The what?""The first wolves. The ones who served Sol, not Luna. The ones who have been sleeping for centuries.""Why are they awake now?"Morwen looked at me."Because the cycle is broken. Because the bond is restored. Because they're afraid."---The ash-colored wolf stepped forward.Shif

  • The Rogue Luna's Revenge    The Nightmare

Brynn Hollis' POVThe cycle was broken. The prophecy was fulfilled. The Shepherd was gone, Selene was imprisoned, the Council was scattered. We had the stone, the medallion, the bond. But the Silence was still out there. Not the quiet of peace—the wolf. The seventh member of the Council, the one with no face, the one who could erase wolves from memory. He had vanished after the Council fell. No one knew where.I should have been relieved.Instead, I was haunted.---The nightmares started a week after we returned from the cave.I dreamed of wolves I didn't recognize, their faces blurred, their voices fading. They called my name, but I couldn't hear them. They reached for me, but I couldn't feel them.Waking, I remembered nothing. But the stone around my neck was cold."The Silence is near," Morwen said. "He's trying to erase you from the minds of those who love you.""He can't erase me from the bond.""He can try."---Dax noticed the change first."Brynn, you've been distant. Distrac

  • The Rogue Luna's Revenge    The Locket

Brynn Hollis' POVThe locket had been in my family for generations.Or so I thought. Morwen examined it by candlelight, turning it over and over in her gnarled hands."This isn't Aldric's," she said. "It's not Elena's either. This belonged to Seraphina.""The first Luna?""She gave it to your father, Kaelus. He gave it to Elena for safekeeping. Elena hid it in the Moonshadow ruins before Selene captured her.""Why?""Because the locket contains a map. Not to a place—to a memory."---Morwen pressed her thumb against the locket's clasp. It clicked open.Inside, no portrait. Just a small, folded parchment, so old it crumbled at the edges."Carefully," Morwen whispered.I unfolded the parchment.Writing, faded but legible. The handwriting was elegant, centuries old.To the Luna who comes after: I have hidden the true history of our kind in the place where the moon touches the earth. Seek the cave of echoes, not the one you know—the one beneath the waterfall. There you will find the truth

  • The Rogue Luna's Revenge    The Third Mother

Brynn Hollis' POVThe locket led us to the valley. Not the Moonshadow ruins—somewhere deeper, hidden between mountains that didn't appear on any map. Morwen guided us, following a trail she'd walked only once, decades ago."The third mother," she said. "Selene wasn't the only one. The Shepherd wasn't the only one. There was another. The one who started everything."I rode beside her, Dax on my other side. Farrah and Lyssa scouted ahead."Who was she?""Her name was Seraphina. She was the first Luna of Many Faces. And she's still alive."---The valley was hidden by a waterfall. We rode through it—cold, drenching, the horses skittish. On the other side, a paradise. Green grass, wildflowers, a lake so clear it reflected the sky.And at the lake's edge, a cottage.Smoke curled from the chimney."She's expecting us," Morwen said."How do you know?""Because she sees everything."---Seraphina opened the door before we knocked. She was old—ancient—but her eyes were sharp. Gray hair, wrinkl

  • The Rogue Luna's Revenge    The Truth Of Blood

Brynn Hollis' POVThe wolf arrived at midnight. Not a messenger—a prisoner. The Circle's scouts had found him wandering the northern forests, half-starved, half-mad. He claimed to have information about my birth parents."He says his name is Theron," Rian told me. "He was a guard in Selene's pack. He knew you as a baby.""Bring him to the study."---Theron was old, older than any wolf I'd met. His fur was gray, his eyes clouded with cataracts. He smelled of rot and sorrow."You're the Luna," he said."I'm Brynn.""I knew your father. Not Aldric—your real father. His name was Kaelus."I sat down across from him."Tell me."---"Kaelus was Selene's mate. Before she went mad. He was a good wolf—kind, strong, loyal. He tried to stop her from using the stone. He tried to protect you.""What happened to him?""Selene killed him. When you were six months old. She said he was weak. That he didn't understand the prophecy.""Where is he buried?""There is no grave. She burned his body. Erased
