As I sat inside an open-air gazebo, I watched the salty gentle breeze blew over the palm trees. Above the clear aqua-blue water, I watched herons filled up the tropical plants. Others went soaring in the high blue sky, going out of their nests for the morning hunt. Little birds chirped away over the blinding white beach.
I breathed in the fresh humid air of serenity and tried to soak up the new reality I was thrown into. Then a musical voice drifted through the gentle wind. A new rush of vibrating zeal burst through my veins. I knew that sweet delicate tone. My face lighted up into a smile, already anticipating the presence of my other half.
