"I am sorry that it took me so long to get back. I was trying to give you your space while you shopped for dresses. As soon as I heard the whispers that the Guild Master was in town I rushed back over here." He says to me.

"Why would you do that? I have been dealing with him for years." I say.

"I watched outside for a bit but it did not seem as if he had any plans to just allow you to walk out of here." He tells me.

As much as I appreciate his help I can only hope that this does not come back to bite me. Sure, I was struggling but I always find a way to talk my way out of things. This time, I was a little caught off guard and struggling but I definitely could have found a different way out of that. One that would still allow me to go back to the Guild in the future.

"I would have figured something out." I say indignantly.

In truth, I am not completely sure that I would have talked my way out of it but I am still hopeful. I have always managed to talk my way out in the past. This time,
