TORREN

My jaw dropped as I gaped at the doctor who kept staring back like he was losing some of his brain cells.

“Did Eryn put you up to this? Did she?” I yelled, sweat running down my forehead as my hands jittered and I slammed my fist into a desk.

“I am so sorry for the loss of your son, Alpha. If it would be any closure, I could get some of the hospital footage from when he passed and a picture of his wolf that was taken also. Please accept my sincerest apologies.” Doctor Brown stated, completely ignoring my question as he stood to his feet and punched in some dials into the telephone laying on the table.

“Doctor Brown here, can I get on the line with the security room?” He said, I'm guessing the line already went through.

“Yes, exactly. Can I get the footage pulled from ward 26b on May 30th?” I could feel the world dropping into my feet when Doctor Brown dropped the call and a few seconds later, one of the security personnel walked in through the door with a laptop in hand.

  • The Scarred Luna: Alpha's Unforgivable Mistake   Back With A Mouth Louder Than Bombs

SAELA She left as a nobody and now she was back to take everything that didn't belong to her. She's returning like a queen but one thought…this wasn't her kingdom. She can try to take it all, I don't lose anyways. When I received information that Eryn had landed in Veloria, all thoughts crossed my mind. What is she back for? Why's she back here? I thought I had finally gotten rid of Torren from her clutches but she didn't just come back, she also went to see Torren. That spelt doom for me and I couldn't let that happen.Time to stop this stupid thing once and for all. From the little message I had gotten, she didn't move back to Torren's home but lodged into a hotel. At least, she's far from him for the meantime.I peeked through my glasses as she surfed through each aisle, throwing things into her cart.Fucking Eryn. Why can't you just disappear like dust? That's what I was going to help you do. Disappear. Like dust. Why's she shopping so much today when she just got back here? Like

  • The Scarred Luna: Alpha's Unforgivable Mistake   Tangled In Power.

TORREN Her face contorted into a frown and tears spilled out of her eyes as she stared at me with glistening eyes. This was one of those times when I just didn't need to look too hard at her to notice some of her facial features. She has a mole underneath her eye? I could have sworn I didn't know that.“Torren, you're a piece of shit.” She suddenly blurted out, placing her hands on the top of her chest like she was struggling for breath. She sniffed retrieving her phone from inside of her pocket as she began to tap away from her screen but I didn't have the time for whatever she wanted to show me.“You know why you came back, Eryn. I have had it easy for you and I know you quite miss the life when you were called Luna. So you can put off the act now and come home.” I stated, going back to my seat and I watched as her lips trembled.Surely, she wanted to come home.Who wouldn't want to come back to a life of goodness? Maybe the only thing stopping her is the way she would confess it t

  • The Scarred Luna: Alpha's Unforgivable Mistake   Still My Wife?

ERYNWe arrived in Torren's pack in silence as I checked my parents into a hotel room and headed over to Torren's office to meet up with him. This time? I was not just going as Eryn.I was going as ErynEchoes. To strike a deal and save my parents apparently.“My goodness. Luna, you came back.” Kael said excitedly as he walked towards me and I raced up a hand.“I'm not your Luna anymore, Kael.” I cautioned before moving in for the hug as his arms were outstretched.“Old habits die hard but I'd learn. I suppose you're here to see the Alpha?” He queried and I nodded in affirmation while he tilted his head towards the office.“He's in his office but careful, he hasn't been his usual self this past few days.” Kael warned and I nodded before going towards his office.Folding my fist as I swallowed hard, I took a deep breath in and finally convinced myself it was okay to knock.I wasn't his wife anymore.Placing two short knocks on the door, I heard him grunt.Isn't it Kael who was fond of g

  • The Scarred Luna: Alpha's Unforgivable Mistake   Returning Back To Where It All Began

ERYNI am leaving for Veloria. If I repeated it long enough, it would practically sink in and become true, I hope.I had already booked the tickets for me, dad and my mum. They were going to come with me one way or the other, whether they liked it or not.Several things were on my mind when I came to the conclusion of going back to Veloria and top of the list was my father's health.I can't watch him die. No! I wasn't going to be as quiet and understanding as I had been towards Niko and watched him close his eyes in death and take his final breath.I am not going to lose my father like that.I packed some of my few accessories needed into my suitcase and zipped it up.The inheritance or shares wasn't part of my reason to go back there though, no. I didn't care one bit about those materialistic things…Or maybe I did care but just a teeny tiny bit.The bottom line is, it wasn't something I desperately desired so I didn't care if I got it or not.All I could whisper to the wind is than

  • The Scarred Luna: Alpha's Unforgivable Mistake   His Grandfather's Last Gift.

ERYN“Dad? Right now I know we have a lot of hostility towards my ex husband, but if he is capable of saving you, I'm willing to take that chance.” I stressed, dropping my burrito onto my plate and my dad shook his head in negative defiance.“I'd rather die than let him save me.” Dad's voice was stern and I knew that nothing I would say would change his mind.At least not now. I could find a way to convince him later, just not now.He feels he's overstepping. He feels asking for help means stepping on my pride but I didn't care.I wasn't going to lose another family member, especially why on a second opportunity, Torren's help is needed again.“But dad…” I proved further but trailed off when my mum took the words out of my mouth.“Let's just eat. Let's enjoy the meal we're having now and try not to sabotage it.” Mom interfered and I pursed my lips, zipping it dramatically as I munched on my food.Having lunch was done in no time and I had helped mother clear the dishes. Not because t

  • The Scarred Luna: Alpha's Unforgivable Mistake   Where Power Used To Live.

ERYNI never thought I’d be sitting behind this desk again—my father’s desk back at the main pack palace going files and scrolls. Not as his heir. Not as the future Alpha. Just… helping out. Temporarily. The Pack House smelled the same. A strange comfort of old cedar, ink, and dominance. I’d grown up in these walls, shadowed his meetings, memorized the rhythm of power like a second language. And now, here I was, signing off on patrol shifts and rerouting the budget for the training grounds. Again.Only this time, Donovan had asked for my help and I said yes.Not for the title. Not for glory. But because, against my better judgment, this place still mattered to me.And maybe —just maybe— I wanted to prove to my father what he gave up when he told me I wasn’t meant to lead.My thoughts got interrupted when I found my dad leaning against the door post and out of habit, I shut the file that I was reading from.I'm not doing anything wrong, I tried to tell myself as I locked eyes with him
