Chapter 39

Narrator's POV

He watched her run off in tears and he felt his heart trumble in discomfort. It was never supposed to be like this. He wasn't sure anymore if he still hates the lady as he claims he does, and he knew deep down that she was dangerous, but all he wanted any way was to get closer to her as the day goes.

It sounds very stupid, and even to him as well because he was not supposed to feel anything apart from hate for her, but again she didn't wrong him in anyway, or did she?

Sighing for the up teem time, he returned to his office with a deep frown on his face, and his phone rang immediately he got there.

Picking up his phone, he realized that it was his mom calling, and that he had already missed two of her calls before now. Somehow he knew why she was calling, and braced himself for the out come of his mom's calls.

Mom! He called simply as soon as he answered her calls, and the older woman sighed from the other side of the line.
