As Drew spoke about his day, I couldn't help but get lost in his deep brown eyes. He was always so passionate about anything he did, and it was one of the things I admired most about him.

As our dinner arrived, I savored the delicious flavors and listened intently as Drew continued to tell me about his day. But I couldn't shake off the feeling of guilt for not telling him the whole truth about my day.

"Hey, Brielle," Drew interrupted my thoughts. "Is everything okay? You seem a little distant."

I took a deep breath, knowing that I had to come clean about my day. "I'm sorry, Drew. I went to see an old friend while you were touring the hotel."

Drew raised an eyebrow, looking at me curiously. "Oh really? Who did you go see?"
