Chapter Forty-One
Jordan POV
I knew Cass was mad at me but I had decided to just let it run its course. She would forgive me eventually. I mean she had to right? We were living in the same house after all. She couldn’t really escape me. I tried to talk to her during dinner but she kept ignoring me. Nina was ignoring Koray too and it was driving him crazy.
After dinner she raced back upstairs and I did the dishes. Dad had left to go talk with Samuels about Reign. He'd be mad once he found out I helped her escape. I couldn’t let my sister basically rot in a jail. I knew she had done some shitty stuff but she was still my sister. After I finished the dishes I head upstairs and shower. Standing under the water I felt myself relaxing. The hot water relaxing my muscles. I wash my body and hair before rinsing off and getting out.

My eyes flash open. It’s dark. I can barely make out more than five metres in front of me. I stand, feeling the cool air wash over me, a nice light breeze blowing through the trees. It’s quiet.
