Though she couldn't open her eyes, she knew that she was laying in a bed. She didn't know she knew that or what even a bed really was. She couldn't remember everything that was going on around her period. She remembered being outside. That's when she started to really think and almost began to panic internally. She had no idea who she was. She had no idea where she was. Everything that was running her was foreign, and she had no idea what it was there for in the first place. There was a lot going on around her, and she could hear various people in the background, but she still couldn't open her eyes just yet. The people that were there didn't seem to notice that she was any different, so she just laid there perfectly still. There was a sense of panic that was pumping through every one of her veins.
Being where she was, she had to think that she was safe even though she really didn't know anything that was going on around her. she was trying to frantically remember anything about herself, including how she got to wherever she was.
Every time she did this, though, she came up blank, and it just seemed like she was running into a brick wall as hard as she probably could over and over again. She couldn't move her arms or her legs at the moment. She didn't even wanna crack open her eyes to see where she was. That was when somebody was standing over her. She could feel the wet cloth on her skin, and it made her tremble. The thought of water sends a new panic running through her. She had no idea why. The only thing that she could see was of Vessel on the, and she knew that at one point, that had been a not calming thing for her, but right now, she was scared. She was really scared.
That is when she started to feel the pain that was coming right from her head in waves all throughout her body. It seemed like it was neverending. It just kept coming through her entire body. Every time she thought of that one vessel on the water, the pain started and then went through her entire body down to her feet. A panic came over her that was playing for anyone to see, even if she was supposed to be asleep. The desire to run away was right there. It was hard, and it was fast, and she wanted to get away from wherever she was. That's all she could think about was making sure that she could make her escape at some point. It was just ingrained in her that she had to leave. She had to keep moving. Far and fast.
The sounds that surrounded her in the room were not things that she could identify. She could hear people mumbling in the background, but even without her eyes cracked, she could see that people were looking at her. She could feel it. It felt like her skin was on fire. Everything felt like it was broken. And she didn't understand why she couldn't move her arms or her legs. Things were not working the way that they should, even though she really didn't understand how they should work first place.
She would see flashes of pictures in her mind, but there was nothing that she could hold on to or that she even understood. It was like everything was gone. She could smell the scent of seawater nearby, and she knew it, but she couldn't explain even to herself how she did. The scent in the air was nauseating to her. She wanted nothing to do with it, and she needed to get away from it. All she wanted to do was get away from even her own mind, which was blank. She felt lost in the vastness of the bleak black pictures that were in her brain.
It was the weirdest feeling for her. All she could do was close her eyes even tighter than they already were in hopes that this was a bad dream. Her biggest fear was that it was nothing like a dream, and this was her life.
She knew she had to get somewhere, but she didn't know where. Only she could move her arms and legs. She could make her way far away from wherever she was. That was her only goal right now to make sure that she could get away. The panic that flooded her body also began to fade.
As the feeling of drowsiness was taking over her again, she made a deal with herself very silently that she had to get away from wherever she was. She had to make sure that she was OK. She had to make sure that she continued to survive. For some reason, that was the only thing that she could think of. She had to survive. Her survival meant that somebody else was going to pay for whatever they did to her.
So now she had two goals as she started to fall asleep, probably from some type of medication. Though she didn't know that herself. Goal number one was to make sure that she could get away when the time came and she her body the way that it should move. The second goal was that she had to make sure that she survived no matter what. She didn't know why her survival meant so much to her besides the fact that she would be alive, but she knew that somebody would end up paying long as she could survive. Now the question was who would end up paying for whatever she was going through now just by her surviving? that was her last thought before she fell asleep again, and the people that were around her didn't even notice that she had been awake at all.
Despite the amount of medication the doctors had been pumping her full of, she managed to start to wake up without them even realizing it. When a nurse came into the room that she had been placed in, even though it was highly monitored with the guards and even the doctors and staff of the Medical Center. She was slightly surprised to see the girl there with her eyes completely wide open. “Where am I?” the girl managed to ask, and she looked at the nurse, who was about ready to drop the tray of medications. She was clearly surprised and even shocked to the point that she was embarrassed. “You need to hold on one moment. I need to get one of the doctors in here. You should not be awake right now.” center sign she placed the tray down and then quickly ran out of the room, and then there was another high pitch sound that echoed through the area. She didn't know what the noise was. There was nothing there before
“Mr. Danielson, Sir, I explained to you that she might not be able to truly communicate anything right off the bat when she did wake up. It seems that my suspicions were confirmed. I believe that she has amnesia from whatever hit her head. Those bruising and the swelling in her brain had gone down enough to not be life threatening anymore. It is still a huge issue. As of right now, I don't believe that she can remember anything. She doesn't know her own name at the moment.” the doctor said as he looked at the man who is just staring at her. “Are there any tests that we can run to make sure that she's telling the truth? How do we honestly know that she can't remember anything? she could easily be here to sabotage something.” Benton said as he looked at her knowing that there was nothing in her eyes that showed any recognition of him or the facility. He was staring at her, and though he didn't wanna seem cold and calculating right now, he was too
Unfortunately for Benton, his housing compound and mountain base were being used by his sister and her friends, who were trying to get his attention. He was also dealing with the fact that he was so close even though he know he needed to take a break. He wasn't interested in anyone that his sister was going to bring over, and somehow she managed to convince him to allow her to throw a few dinner parties. At least while she was there. Then he had the mysterious stranger who was in the medical Bay who still was under watch, knowing that she could possibly be somebody there to infiltrate the lab. However, she still had not shown any sign that she was trying to do anything. She was either the most patient person on the planet, or she was somebody who had suffered a tragic accident. The trace analysis, was coming back later today, and he was going down to the lab to see what the results were, and this was the one time i
He walked into the main dining hall that had been decked out with fresh flowers and even probably close to 1000 candles. He had to wonder if his sisters thought that this would work. As if trying to set a mood that he wasn't in the mood to even remotely talk to anybody, let alone meet the person that he was supposed to stay with. This wasn't the way to do it. He took one look at everyone that was in the room waiting for him to join them before they started having dinner and knew that this night was going to be nothing more than a headache. At this point, he was looking forward to somebody trying to interrupt the night with some information. Even though he had specifically told everybody that he would be busy for the evening dealing with his mother and sisters and, of course, all the extra eligible females that were waiting to bat their eyes. They had all looked at him like he was nothing more than a giant piece of meat that had a
Benton walked briskly to the medical facility. It wasn't that far, but it was far enough where it would take him a few minutes to get there. As you walk down the hall, he could hear everything starting to get a little bit more pronounced. Something was going on, and he wasn't exactly sure what. Whatever, it sounded like it wasn't that good. He was absolutely sure that he wasn't going to enjoy having to deal with whatever he was walking into. One of the doctors was yelling, and some of the nurses as well. But he didn't know who they were yelling at, and it seemed as if it was getting louder as he was getting closer, but it wasn't because of the distance. It was because of whatever the situation was, the doctor absolutely adamant for somebody to get out of the area. Benton stopped for a minute and tried to piece together what he could already hear coming from the medical Bay. He thought it would probably be best if he took a moment to lis
Benton followed the doctor out into the hallway. It was one of the very few times that somebody was going to lead him around. He wasn't the submissive type. He was usually the most dominant male in the room, period. However, he did trust the doctor, and he would follow him. That was just something that was going to happen. Otherwise, he wouldn't be working there. “The patient exhibits some kind of PTSD towards the water. Something very bad happened to her. The only time that we can understand what is going on with her is when she's asleep. Right now, she's talking in her sleep period. She keeps mentioning Josh, but we don't know who that is. Neither does she. She seems confused when we mention that name. However, when it's time to get water near her as we need to cleanse and bathe certain areas to make sure that no infection sets in, we have a huge issue with her, and it's the only time that we have any type o
The entire room went completely silent. The only thing that was heard was the beeping of the machines. The woman in the middle of the room was clearly in shock. Now her wide eyes and the confused look on her face were the only thing that people were staring at. They needed to see any type of recognition with the name that he had just said. It was clear that she didn't have a clue. She wasn't reacting to the name at all, but that wasn't unusual when it came to cases of amnesia. Even Benton was sitting there looking at her very closely. He meant every word that he said, though. It was one of the very few times that he had shown any type of empathy for a person, but he knew that he had done wrong. He wasn't going to take it out on her anymore because of his mistake. He was going to make sure that she was taken care of medically and that all of her needs were met. It was a fluke that she had been that close to the base at all; how
The next two weeks seemed to fly by. Every bit of information that they had gathered from the trace analysis and even what her body went through. Seemed to confirm the fact that she was Kelly Williams. There had been quite a few rescue efforts, and even recovery efforts to find the boat that she was supposed to be on, but it didn't seem that it was even in the area. There was no wreckage to be found at all. The doctors had also found that there were two massive brain bruises. One was a few days older than the rest. Or at least that's what they were guessing it was. There was no way to test to see how old it was; however, with the size in the way that it was shrinking, they had to assume that it had been inflicted days prior. Benton didn't exactly like the way that that news had come out. The way that the doctors had explained it to him was basically that that wound was probably inflicted the day of the boating accident
