MRS. VEGA’s mood seemed to have changed the moment Jade uttered her answer. Nevertheless, she still managed to usher the two visitors outside the company’s building with a smile.
“Thank you so much for visiting, I hope you’ll visit us again soon,” Mrs. Vega said.
“Thank you, Mrs. Vega. It was such a pity I can’t stay long. I still have meetings to attend.” Yumena offered her a smile, aware of how the other became suddenly off earlier. It’s not that it’s her business, so she just let things through.
“It’s okay, it’s okay.” Mrs. Vega smiled widely, silently wishing it wasn’t obvious that it’s a fake one. If Yumena noticed, she chose not to speak about it.
