Chapter One Hundred-FIfty Four

Tristan reached out for Oliver’s hands that were holding the bag of tomatoes. He grabbed the tomatoes from him and put them aside, holding Oliver’s hands, rubbing the back of his hands with his thumbs.

Oliver looked rather taken aback as this gesture of Tristan brought color to his cheeks. He tried to avert Tristan’s gaze, the expression on his face making Tristan want to comment on that, but now wasn’t the time.

Tristan tilted his head to meet Oliver’s eyes, forcing him into making eye contact with him, which Oliver could barely hold. Then Tristan popped the question, “Would you like to go out with me, Oliver?”

Oliver looked like he was about to faint. He stared at Tristan for a while before whispering something in a hoarse voice that Tristan couldn’t catch and the confusion on his face communicated that.
