Andrew couldn't talk to Eros and Psyche in person, so he had to mindlink. Eros could be a real bastard at times, but he loved Psyche and his daughter. Psyche was going to be the hard one. Aglaura and Cidippe had her guarded, but Andrew had his own spy with her. He sat in his room and closed his eyes. He could mindlink Eros and the spy, but it took a lot of energy and concentration. Selena looked around the room as everyone continued to sleep. She wasn't sure what she should do. When she heard something behind her, she turned around and saw Andrew standing there. "How did I put everyone to sleep?" Selena asked with concern. "Your father is Eros, and he has the gift of sedation. In our realm, that would only cause someone to feel tired, but here, it makes people go to sleep. They should all wake up soon. You will notice some of your parent's gifts were passed down to you. Psyche continued to pretend that she was too depressed to function. Her sisters were up to something, but she wasn't sure exactly what. She had heard about the woman they had watching over Selena and how she had died because of two pups. Psyche had been so happy that those pups saved her daughter. She knew Aglaura and Cidippe were going to try something else before they would have to take care of Selena themselves. Everyone in the palace started searching for Trisha and Polly. Bianca felt sick that someone had gotten into the palace and taken the girls under their watch. Who would have done it, and why? She, Gunnar, Alani, and Omar went into every room on the second floor, hoping whoever had them hadn't had time to go far. "We have the pups. Come to our bedroom." Selena mindlinked everyone. Gunnar held Bianca in his arms as the tears ran down his face. He didn't understand what happened. Who killed her? While he sobbed, the door burst open. "Right before Alani passed out, she said she and Bianca had been poisoned," Omar said anxiously, kneeling next to Gunnar. "They're not dead, but they're barely breathing. Does anyone know what they were poisoned with?" Ella asked as she put her hands on Alani and Bianca. She was the palace healer and centuries old. "No," Everyone answered her. Ella rubbed her hands over Bianca and Alani's foreheads and closed her eyes. She suddenly opened them and looked at Selena. "This poison came from the gods. Queen Selena, their only hope is for you to save them. Please come here." Ella said. Selena knelt between Alani and Bianca. "What do I need to do?" She asked, looking

Andrew went to the dining hall the next morning to tell everyone about Nyx and Hermes. When he arrived, the others were already there. Polly and Trisha were extra careful about who approached Selena, even eyeing him suspiciously. "Good morning. I have some reinforcements coming to help us. I want to warn you because they're probably not exactly what you would expect as far as help," Andrew explained. "Okay, who are they?" Gunnar asked. He was nervous about anyone new after what happened to Bianca and Alani. "Nyx is the goddess of night. She's from the underworld. Hermes is the herald of the gods and travels between all realms. They're able to come to Earth, unlike those from the realm Selena and I come from. We need the power of the gods to fight the two goddesses. Having Nyx and Hermes here will give us that power, in addition to the power Selena and Zaiden now have." Andrew explained while everyone looked at him in shock
