Tales only the heart tells

Whenever Zara's gaze fell upon Jason, an unspoken enchantment seemed to weave its way through her heart. It was as if the rhythm of her own heartbeat synchronized with the cadence of their encounters, setting her senses ablaze with an inexplicable magnetism.

Her eyes drank in the sight of him, capturing every detail with an almost reverent appreciation. Jason's presence radiated a unique blend of confidence and warmth, drawing her in like a moth to a flame. The way he carried himself, with a subtle hint of playfulness in his smile, ignited a spark within her, captivating her attention and leaving her yearning for more.

Zara's heart danced to its own secret melody, the rhythm quickening in his proximity. Her pulse fluttered, a gentle reminder of the invisible thread that connected them.

The way he looked at her, with a mix of curiosity and kindness, ignited a fire within her, kindling a hope that perhaps there was something more to their connection.

When their paths crossed, the air crackled with a palpable tension, an energy Zara could not ignore. Their conversations flowed effortlessly, a dance of words and laughter that seemed to transcend the bounds of time. In those moments, Zara felt seen and understood, her heart finding solace in the company of someone who stirred emotions she couldn't quite comprehend.

Yet, amidst the fluttering of her heart, there lingered a hint of uncertainty. Zara couldn't help but question the origins of this profound connection. Was it merely a chance encounter, or was it woven into the fabric of something greater, something beyond their comprehension?

As she navigated the intricacies of her newfound feelings, Zara allowed herself to embrace the allure of the unknown. She cherished each stolen glance, each fleeting interaction that left her yearning for more. And in the depths of her heart, she whispered a silent prayer, hoping that their paths would continue to intertwine, allowing their connection to unfold and reveal its true purpose.

For now, in the dance of their hearts, Zara wished she could tell him about her secret.

His voice brought her out of her reverie,

"I came to find you after your lecture, but you were gone".

As Zara stood outside the lecture hall, her heart raced with a potent blend of anticipation and apprehension. Jason stood by her side, Zara felt this was the right time to confide in Jason.

Her gaze flickered towards Jason, his eyes alive with curiosity and warmth. He seemed genuinely interested in her, and the thought of confiding in him about her identity as a werewolf tugged at the depths of her being. She longed for his understanding, his acceptance, and the possibility of sharing her true nature with someone who had captured her heart.

But just as Zara summoned the courage to utter the words that would reveal her secret, a subtle shift in the atmosphere caught her attention. A familiar presence, like a whisper in the wind, enveloped her senses. Vincent, her steadfast companion and protector, had arrived, his presence undetectable to others but unmistakable to her.

Sensing Vincent nearby, Zara's thoughts faltered, and a mixture of conflicting emotions washed over her. She cherished her bond with Vincent, grateful for his guidance and support. But the yearning to confide in Jason, to let him in on her extraordinary world, tugged at her soul.

Her eyes flickered between Jason and the invisible presence of Vincent, torn between the desire to protect her secret and the longing to be truly known by the person who had captured her heart. She realized that revealing her true self came with risks, uncertainties, and potential consequences that extended beyond her own life.

Zara took a deep breath, the weight of her decision bearing down upon her. For now, she chose to preserve the delicate balance between her two worlds, acknowledging that the timing might not be right. She couldn't risk jeopardizing the safety of those she cared about or subjecting Jason to the complexities of her supernatural existence without careful consideration.

With a bittersweet smile, Zara turned her attention back to Jason, momentarily setting aside the revelation that had lingered on her tongue. Zara knew that one day she would have to come clean with Jason. But with Vincent lurking around and listening, she could wait a little bit longer.

As the chatter of passing students filled the air, Zara pushed aside her internal turmoil, choosing instead to savour the present moment. She silently thanked Vincent for his unspoken presence, knowing that he understood the depth of her emotions and the weight of her secret.

With newfound determination, Zara embraced the uncertainty, trusting that when the time was right, the truth would reveal itself naturally. Until then, she would relish the joy of their blossoming connection and navigate the delicate dance of secrets and love, knowing that her path was guided by both her heart and the loyal presence of Vincent by her side.

"Zara, one of the people that attended that class told me you had a problem and had to be carried out. What really happened, "Jason enquired.

Vincent stood before Patrick, Zara's father, a solemn expression etched upon his face. The weight of his words hung heavily in the air as he spoke, his voice tinged with urgency.

"Patrick, we can't keep shielding Zara from the truth," Vincent implored, his eyes filled with a mixture of concern and determination. "Jason has been getting closer to her, and their bond is growing. She needs to know the truth about her mother's death, about how she became a werewolf."

Patrick's brows furrowed, his gaze filled with apprehension. "Vincent, I understand your concerns, but Zara's just started a new phase of her life. I worry about how she'll handle such revelations. It's not easy for anyone to come to terms with the darkness in their past."

Vincent's voice held a note of conviction as he countered, "I know it won't be easy, Patrick, but Zara's strength is increasing, and her memories are clearing. She deserves to hear the truth from you, to avoid hearing twisted tales from elsewhere. It's time for her to know her own story."

An intense argument ensued, filled with conflicting perspectives and the weight of responsibility. Vincent's loyalty to the pack urged him to unveil the truth, to guide Zara through the complexities of her existence. Patrick, on the other hand, grappled with the fear of burdening his daughter with a painful history.

Amidst the clash of opinions, they found a common ground—a shared desire to protect Zara. Patrick reluctantly agreed that the truth needed to be revealed, but emphasized the importance of timing. He believed that Zara should be allowed to settle into her new life, to find stability before confronting the shadows of her past.

"I will tell her everything, the timing has to be right", Patrick said, Vincent agreed to wait for the opportune moment, to ensure that Zara was ready to face the revelations that awaited her.

As Vincent left the ranch, his heart heavy with the weight of the impending truth, he knew that the time for secrets and half-truths was drawing to a close. The bond he shared with Zara, forged through their shared journey, compelled him to guide her through the shadows and into the light of her own story.

After Zara's last class for the day, Zara and Jason met up at the entrance of the cafeteria. They had exchanged numbers before she left for her first class. She and Jason had lost contact after her mother's accident, and she wasn't leaving anything to chance this time.

The campus cafeteria buzzed with activity, a lively hub where students congregated to refuel and unwind amidst their academic pursuits. The air was filled with the mingling aromas of freshly brewed coffee, sizzling food, and the faint scent of excitement.

Zara and Jason sat across from each other at a small table, their surroundings a blend of vibrant colors and energetic conversations. The chatter of students echoed through the spacious room, blending with the clatter of trays, the gentle hum of conversation, and the occasional burst of laughter

Zara had to intentionally tears her eyes from Jason's eyes. They were deep brown and very magnetsing.

Zara was so happy her father had agreed she could stop homeschooling.

"I'm so happy your father is allowing you out of the house", Jason said gently tugging on her thumb with his fingers.

"I am even more surprised, he is letting me come close to you, considering the fact that my dad once dated your mom".

Zara immediately grabbed him by the shoulders, " my mom and your dad?

My dad never told me about that. He never talks about her. Sometimes its as though she never existed", Zara said, her anguish evident in her voice.

"Tell me everything you know about my mom".
