The Silent Pact of Love with a Billionaire-Chapter 1

Presidential Suite at Four Seasons Hotel

The door was forcefully pushed open by a drunken middle-aged man. He turned back anxiously, 'Darling...'

A young woman stood at the door, dressed in a fiery red deep V-neck off-shoulder dress that accentuated her graceful figure. Her long, black straight hair was casually tied up, and her delicate features adorned with light makeup exuded a playful charm in her laziness.

'Darling, come in quickly...' The man swallowed saliva and reached out to embrace the woman.

The woman skillfully evaded, leaning against the entrance. She threw a seductive glance at the man, 'Mr. Williams, why so impatient?'

The man known as ' Mr. Williams ' rubbed his hands together, approaching with a lustful gaze, 'Isn't it because Assistant Scarlett is too charming? You know very well... Little enchantress, you've been missed!'

The woman smiled at him and slowly retreated into the room, ' Mr. Williams, shouldn't you take a bath first?'

Mr. Williams realized, pointing at the woman with a smirk, 'You naughty thing!'

'So, Mr. Williams, are you going to take a bath or not?'

'Yes, of course!' Mr. Williams, afraid of her changing her mind, rushed into the bathroom.

Soon, sounds of water flowing and cheerful whistling echoed from the bathroom.

The smile on the woman's face immediately disappeared. She stared at the bathroom door, took out a miniature camera from her long wallet, quickly placed it between the seams of the ashtray and desk lamp, and then removed the clip from her hair, letting her waist-length hair cascade down.

In less than ten minutes, Mr. Williams dashed out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel, 'Darling, I'm here!'

' Mr. Williams, if you don't go home tonight, will Mrs. Williams worry?' The woman sat on the edge of the bed, one hand supporting her head, the other shaking the wine glass in her hand. Her slender, fair legs were crossed beneath the hem of her skirt, and her ink-black hair gleamed in the soft light.

'She worries about what!' Mr. Williams disdainfully spat, then pleasingly approached, 'Little darling...'

The woman gave him a disdainful look, 'I heard that Mr. Williams went through a lot of trouble to win over Mrs. Williams back then!'

'Little darling, jealous?' Mr. Williams chuckled, 'If it weren't for the old man saying that only by becoming the son-in-law of their family could I take over the company, do you think I would fancy that old hag?'

'If one day I become that old hag, Mr. Williams probably won't want to look at me again.'

'Oh, come on, Granny Scarlett, don't you know you're the apple of my eye? Whatever you like, even if it's the stars in the sky, I, Mr. Williams, will pick them for you...'

"Is that so?" A teeth-gritting female voice suddenly echoed in the suite.

Mr. Williams shuddered, turned around, and indeed, the suite's door was wide open. A well-rounded middle-aged woman, holding a Pomeranian, walked in under the escort of two tall and imposing bodyguards, 'James Williams, you're in trouble!'

...

Ten minutes later, cries of begging echoed from the presidential suite.

In the corridor, Mrs. Williams handed a folder to Assistant Scarlett with a smiling face, 'Miss Scarlett White, this is the contract we agreed upon.'

The woman who was caught in the act with Mr. Williams in the suite took the contract, quickly flipped through it, and handed a miniature camera to Mrs. Williams after confirming, 'With this, divorce shouldn't be difficult.'

"Assistant Scarlett, you've thought this through, or else I really don't know how to deal with this scoundrel!"

"It's my duty." Scarlett White holding the documents, turned to leave.

However, Mrs. Williams stopped her, "Assistant Scarlett, there's something I'm not sure if I should say..."

Scarlett White turned around.

"You're just Mr. Neil Davis's assistant, is it worth making such a sacrifice?"

Scarlett White paused for a moment, then looked at Mrs. Williams, lips curving into a faint smile, "It's worth it."

Davis Mansion

'Miss White, you're back?'

Scarlett White had just pushed open the door when the maid from the Davis family greeted her.

'Miss White, wait a moment, let me get your cotton slippers!'

'No need for that...'

'Bang!'

Before Scarlett White could finish her sentence, there was a loud sound of a teacup being heavily placed on the table inside the room.

Sitting on the living room sofa was a dignified and cold-faced old lady. When Scarlett White looked over, the old lady was retracting her hand adorned with a golden bracelet. A few water stains splattered on the coffee table, and the maid immediately rushed over to clean up, 'Madam, is the tea too hot?'

Seeing the old lady stand up, Scarlett White called out softly, 'Grandmother.'

'Who is your grandmother?' The old lady gave her a cold glance and walked upstairs.

Scarlett White awkwardly stood there.

The maid couldn't bear it, stepped forward, and supported Davis's old lady, 'Madam, you were just saying that the laptop crashed and couldn't be opened. Since Miss White is here, why not let her take a look!'

'Is there a problem with the computer? I can help you...'

The old lady's cold voice interrupted Scarlett White, 'If you didn't come home, my computer might be fine.'

'Madam...'

'You shut up!' Davis's old lady glared fiercely at the maid, 'Do you think she hasn't caused enough trouble for our Davis family? If you find this job too leisurely, I don't mind hiring a new maid tomorrow.'

After speaking, Davis's old lady shook off the maid's hand, used a cane to go upstairs, murmuring in the stairwell.

'What prosperity and wealth, it's simply a reincarnation of disaster, destroying our Davis family...'

Scarlett White stood in the entrance, holding a folder. The night breeze blowing through the open door made her spine chill. She had gotten used to hearing such words over the past few years, but every time she heard them, it still made her uncomfortable.

The maid looked at her slender figure, feeling pity, and brought a pair of cotton slippers, 'Miss White, change into some shoes first. It's late, and wearing sandals, your toes must be freezing, right?'

'I'm fine.' Scarlett White smiled slightly at the housekeeper and looked into the room, 'Why haven't I seen Mom?'

'Mrs. Davis went to Mrs. Wilson's house to play mahjong. By the way, the young master came back from Germany this afternoon.'

'Neil is back?'

'But he just went out again. The luggage is still there!' The maid pointed to a corner of the living room.

Scarlett White turned her head, and a black suitcase lay quietly there, as if it had been turned over, the zipper was open, and a shirt and trousers were peeking out.

'Look at me, busy making supper and forgot to pack for the young master...'

However, Scarlett White stopped the maid who was about to tidy up the suitcase, 'I'll do it.'

The maid smiled and agreed, and Scarlett White's cheeks felt a little warm. She went to squat down next to the suitcase, opened it, and lifted a shirt to fold. Suddenly, with a "pop," a blue velvet box fell to the ground.

Scarlett White picked it up and opened it to reveal a diamond pendant sparkling with brilliance, round and hollow, in the shape of the sun.
