Chp 18 Pt. 4 - Jealousy

Both Derek and I snap our heads towards the door when we hear yelling. Derek rushes to open the door and finds Malayah’s guards about to knock on the door.

“What is it? Where is Malayah?”

“Alpha I’m sorry. Malayah went to the library to read. She jumped out the window and took off. We have wolves on her trail but she has quite the head start.”

“Damn it!”

“Derek we need to get to her before he does,” I say.

“Davina please stay with the children, I don’t want to leave them unprotected in case this is a diversion. I want you and Maliyah in the nursery. I’ll have guards outside the window, in the room with you and outside the door.” Derek takes out his phone and dials a number.

“Gabriel please come back to the estate.” He hangs up and uncle Gabriel appears.

“What’s going on?”

“I need you to go with Davina and Malayah into the nursery and seal it shut. No one gets in or out until I return. Malayah gave the guards the slip and ran off. I’ll deal with you two later, go find her,” he
