“Hey Gabriel. Are you able to get to the estate?”

“Of course, I’ll be right there.” I hang up the phone and Gabriel appears in my office. “How can I help you Derek.”

“I need you to get this necklace to Dimitri. We are sure it’s a dark object.” Gabriel grabs the necklace from me and examines it.

“You are correct. I can sense the evil in it when looking at it’s eye. Where did this come from?”

“Enzo. He has been manipulating Malayah. He gave two necklaces to Malayah on their birthday. One for Malayah and one for Maliyah. Maliyah has only worn hers once. Malayah has worn hers all the time. I think this is why we have been struggling with Malayah.”

“Ryuu help us. Have you tried to get Malayah to take it off?”

“Not yet. We are trying to figure out how to approach this. She is already so deep in hatred she won’t listen to me or Davina. I wish I had thought of this sooner. I should’ve known something was off and protected her.”
