(Flora's POV)

"You've met George. Can you calm down now?" Leo asked me, his expression slightly annoyed.

"No, I need to see your mother," I said firmly.

Since Mable Bell had been Ilana's chaperone and the two of us had argued about it, it was my understanding that Ilana was a key figure in trying to figure out my past life. Leo had been reluctant to bring up the subject of her mother, and I knew that whatever information he was trying to conceal from me was meaningful. So, I had to see Ilana.

As expected, he refused my request by giving a somewhat plausible excuse. "She is sick, and I highly doubt that she'll answer your questions. Furthermore, it's better for her to rest than trying to bombard her with questions."
