I was petrified seeing him all bloody, it awoke my nightmare. What could have triggered a fight at a time like this? I thought the war was over but seeing him in this state gave me shivers. After spending hours with Blevine at the pack hospital, I got to understand the nature of the werewolves. Some of them could heal on their own, depending on the seriousness of the injury but it didn't stop me from the fear of seeing the Alpha covered in blood. I wanted to ask what happened but I didn't have the confidence. I was glad when Blevine explained after he left that vampires had attacked them at the border. It was satisfying to know that they were all defeated.However, I also realized I had to be abreast with the Alpha. I needed to get closer to him. Still the thought of losing my virginity to someone I wouldn't be married to ached me a little. I had to do this for my kingdom. I need to know him more before my plan could be attained.

Isabella "Use this side of the closet," Alpha Jade began rearranging things in his closet as he spoke. He was so gentle, and warmth had returned to his eyes. Isabella I couldn't understand anything anymore. My brain felt like pins piercing through them. Damien gave me a scare when I first saw him but upon closer look, he wasn't the guard I thought he was in the palace. How could I explain to Jade when I couldn't hide my shock.
