The supreme POV

Lucian and I had walked around the outside of the arena discussing women’s rights in wolf packs and how some packs still suppressed female wolves taking away their choices and voices. For an older alpha he was very new thinking, which surprised me since the packs that were secluded up in the mountains or deep the woods away from other packs often were more likely to live by the old ways since no one would interfere.

He seemed both warm and heartfelt as well as odd and distant. He didn’t seem like a threat or like a man with an agenda, not like the other two alphas, Ezrod and Mazon. He didn’t talk much, but when he spoke, every word was chosen carefully, and every sentence was thought through to the last detail. His words resonated with wisdom from a past filled with melancholy.
