The next few days were quiet, and Jonathan was preparing to go to work. It was already late in the evening, and luckily he already knew that the baby had been fed a few times and that there was a bottle next to her, so if things got to be a little bit rough while he was gone, she would be set up. She had only been taking over-the-counter medication for the past two days. Though the pain was still there, it wasn't as great as it had been. The incision seemed to be closing well, and there didn't seem to be any signs of infection, so he was OK with leaving her. Though he really didn't want to.
