I apologize for the inconvenience it has been with all of the changes in my life over the past year, but I am so very grateful to you all for sticking it out with me! Once I finish this story, I'm going to take a break on this series to finish my other books before returning with the Timekeeper Twins stories! Just as she had predicted, the entrance assessment exams were a cake walk. She had breezed through them, which had only left the Headmaster even more impressed. They traveled for hours through the mountainous terrain & thick forests before they finally reached the gates. It was late morning by the time the bus pulled to a stop in the large circle driveway to the academy entrance. The other students quickly vacated the bus, as they all had been enrolled the previous year. She was the only 1st year student from her pack & though she was nervous to begin this journey she refused to let it show. Maeva pulled the keycard from her pocket & held it infront of the scanner. The door made a clicking noise that told her it unlocked. So, she pushed down on the handle before pushing it open & walking inside. The inside of the room was decorated in hues of purple & white, & hosted 2 large windows on the far wall. A full sized bed sat under each window with a white wooden night stand on each side. There was a desk on the wall to the left of her, & a sitting area with a plush lavender couch to her right. On the far right wall sat another desk between 2 of the 3 doors. "This is nice." David said as walked over to lay her pillow & blanket on the bed that hadn't been claimed. Her roommate had already been here & she wondered if they had passed her in the hall. A laptop sat on the desk on the right, and a bag, a pillow & a blanket sat on the bed to the right.
