25. The Harvest Festival Formal Part 2

When Headmaster Ronan announced Dimitri as the Harvest Festival Alpha, I couldn't be more proud. I glanced up at him from where I sat on his lap with my head nestled into the crook if his neck, but his eyes were closed, as if he hadn't even heard his name be called. He looked so peaceful as his head laid comfortably on top of my curls, his nose buried within the tangles of my coils, breathing in my scent. I giggled as I told him that his name had been called.

He looked down at me, & though I could tell he was confused, his eyes held nothing but adoration for me, and.... love? Yea, that's definitely love in his eyes. He is helplessly in love with me, & though I know I should end things before he falls even further, another part of me wants nothing more than to allow myself to be loved.
