"Is everything packed," I call out. I'm about to grab Jane's first bag out of what feels like a hundred. She has been running around all morning in a nervous frenzy. Seeing the Queen again has her on edge. The last time I tried to load the car, Jane nearly bit my head off.
A faint "yes" meets my ears from upstairs, and I chuckle. I haven't been in this good of a mood in ages. I'm not too fond of the paperwork that comes with being an Alpha, and I need a break. Visiting Riverstone is just what I need.
Klaus grabs another two bags with a massive grin on his face. His month with Clint has proven to be beneficial. His frame has filled out, and he knows how to run a pack in my stead.
"Do you think Luna packed enough for the weekend," he asks sarcastically taking in all of Jane's luggage.
