Chapter 19

R RATED

One week has passed since the executions, and I have done nothing but hold meetings. The pack to the East, Snow Point, is the closest and has agreed to allow White Crest clinic privileges. In exchange, I am to train their warriors with ours. Emmett decided to not leave us high and dry, though, and contacted multiple packs to find a doctor interested in moving up. The clinic will be built as soon as Scott sends me his proposal. The pups will all begin school in August, which is months away, but I figure they would be fine until then.

I open my email, hoping that he has opened the purse strings for us. White Crest is definitely in the poor house. Alpha Layne made no investments, so there is no income. Also, the lands are overhunted, so we have no large game. The pack doesn't have money to purchase food consistently, so they hunt like Rogues. The pack's account has a measly $117,000 in it, which isn't near enough to support our 102 member pack.

Firstly loved book 1&2. BAlso Lance is awesome and relatable and found really attached to him. However I could not get on board with other Jane or their relationship. Feels one way most the time I just don’t get her or the attraction which is such a shame
