Cora

I let out a happy and contented sigh as I turned on the shower, keeping my hand in until it reached the temperature I wanted. Thankfully, I didn’t have to wait too long, as I only have a few moments of peace to enjoy before I switch gears and become mom again.

I let out a small groan of satisfaction when the lukewarm water started running down my back, slowly restoring feeling to my tired but sated body.

Fuck, that was a good….What? Two or three hours?

Meh, all I know is that the woman has a fantastic tongue and sure fucking knows how to use it. Totally cheered me up after the disaster of Lucas and she gave more than needed to help me relax after all the shit lately.

I place my palms on the wall and tilt my head to the side, cracking my neck, and I let out another groan.

Artemis, that felt nice.

“You know, when you stand like that, it makes me want to join you?” Amber purrs from behind.

I chuckle, looking over my shoulder to see a naked Amber casually leaning in the doorway

Finally...Luna gets to show and spend time with her puppy.

Wyatt Axel is seething and is growling in my head as he watches Cora through my eyes. The pup practically leaped into the guy’s arms while my mate greeted him warmly and gave him a fucking kiss. “My, my Alpha Wyatt, jealousy doesn’t look good on you at all, my friend. However, you may want to tone it down before you bring the place down.” A voice says. I snarl as I look down and see it’s Gabriel.“What the fuck are you doing here? And I will growl as much as I want whenever I see my unmarked mate kissing another dude right in front of me. I’m going to kill him.” “Now, now don’t be hasty because if you do that…” He pauses, climbing up the tree to my room. “Well, I’d have to kill you for touching my boy’s son.” He says, giving me the side eye as a silent threat as he walks further into my room. “Besides, she only kissed him on the cheek. I don’t see anything wrong with that.” He teases. I don’t heed his warning because I’m a little confused now. Gabriel sees my reaction and chuck

Wyatt I wake up feeling very refreshed after my semi-relaxing, eventful night with Cora. When she stopped fighting me and somewhat submitted, that is. Thank Goddess she did because it was getting hard, no pun intended, to keep Axel under control. ‘Fuck off!’ He grumbles, all embarrassed. I chuckle at his response while he lowly growls in our mind. ‘I couldn’t fucking help it.’ He grumbles as he turns to stretch, giving me a lovely bird’s eye view of his ass, before laying down, his back to me. ‘Gee, thanks. I was so curious to see what that looks like. Not.’ I say, rolling my eyes. ‘Isn’t that a little immature?’ He yawns, laying his head down. ‘No idea what you’re talking about. I was just getting comfortable.’ He casually says. Uh-huh, sure. ‘How about you think of a way to get our mate talking, asshole.’ He says, covering it up with a yawn. I roll my eyes, ignoring him, but he does bring up a good point. I did pick up on the fact that she is in desperate need of trai

  • The Tribe   Chapter 37 - Angel?

Godric I wonder if I did the right thing by revealing the shift change, but my mind drifts to my beautiful sleeping Angel, and something inside of me, that I thought died a long time ago, flutters like it’s coming back to life. When I saw her snuggled up, all wrapped in the blanket tightly around her, I felt relieved that she felt comfortable and safe enough to be sound asleep. It didn’t escape me when I first saw her how worn and thin she looked, or how weak the aura of her wolf felt. I guess fear and adrenaline are what have kept her on the go, probably has for a long time. Calyx softly growls in my head. ‘We should have stayed.’ I ignore him and keep walking. I get it, and I would have gladly sneaked in and wrapped myself around her, but I don’t think either of them would have appreciated or liked if I did that or if they caught me hanging around like a creep. Not to mention, I don’t know her backstory, and I am quite aware of how others perceive me. I know I look like a scar

  • The Tribe   Chapter 36 - History Lesson (Part 1)

AngelaI’m sure my jaw has a new permanent residence on the floor because holy cow! I’m fidgeting in my seat, dying to ask questions even after she’s already told me off for interrupting.Miss Ayesha sees me and chuckles. “Go on, ask before that little head of yours goes kaboom.” I slightly blush and shyly smile, feeling a bit out of character because this is very unlike me, but I feel like I’m going to burst.“Alright, and please don’t take offense because it’s not something I usually ask, but how old are you? And what happened to Alpha Benjamin’s father? Did he die? Is that why you guys decided on Benjamin?” I ask rapidly, my curiosity burning like a wildfire. What’s so crazy is that she’s only talked about their life when they were rogues. She hasn’t even gotten to the bits she alluded to yesterday! But what captivated me is the way she described it. She makes it sound like it came from a book or movie. It sounded so…what’s the word I’m looking for? Idyllic. It was evident in

Godric I lean back in my office chair and close my eyes while rubbing my forehead. This fucking paperwork is giving me a fucking migraine! Even being in Alpha’s office is making my skin crawl as it’s reminding me of shit I don’t want to think about. At least some things never change. I didn’t like paperwork when I was the Alpha, and I certainly despise it even more now. That was the damn agreement when I accepted Wyatt’s offer to become his Lead Warrior - no fucking desk work! Only paper I want and deal with is the schedule for the patrols, and even then, I hardly do that. Oscar tends to handle most of that plus coming up with new shit to train our elite and warriors. However, now? Damn them all for leaving me to handle all this shit! If I didn’t fucking need or like them, I would have killed them. How is it that all four of them are suddenly acting like pups? They have fucking responbilities! I’m damn sure they are trying to put me in an early grave. A knock on the door int

  • The Tribe   Chapter 34 - Left Behind.

Angela “Who are you?” The woman asks sharply, her eyes narrowed in suspicion. We then see her nose twitch, and for some reason, that releases some of the tension in her shoulders. “I see. You’re not from here. Good.” She says, matter-of-factly. Amber raises her eyebrow, looking at her and then at me. I give her a subtle nod before she turns back to her. I want her to take the lead; she’s the Alpha and way more straightforward. “Correct, we’re not. My name is Amber, and that’s Angela. What about you? And why is that good?” She asks, her tone still firm but not in a harsh way. “Georgia, but I prefer Gia.” She says, her face scrunching up in disgust while rolling her eyes.“I think it’s a nice name.” I say, with a smile. I’m sure I look weird, but I don’t know how I should act around her. I can’t quite catch what rank she is, and given her injuries, it’s obvious she’s hurt in the familiar way we have seen with the other women in the Sanctuary, but she’s not giving me the vibe of som
