Chapter 34: Long Overdue

She hugged her and relaxed in her arms. Her mother wrapped her arms around her and could feel so many emotions packed up inside her. She was tensed, nervous, and scared. She was shaking like a leaf. Mrs Brown rubbed her daughter's back gently trying to calm her down

Later that day, Ruth called Cassandra and told her not to come to the hospital the next. She went further to tell her, her mother will explain to which she acknowledged awaiting a message from Mrs Brown her friend. Katherine knocked on their door gently and Ruth answered.

"Supper is ready," she announced and Ruth thanked her before going back inside to help her mother.
