Zhao Mian and her husband arrived at the hospital shortly after Yuan Rui left and found her parents sitting outside Zhi Rou's room.
"Mother, father? Is she going to be okay?" She asked looking into the hospital room. She could see the baby had an oxygen tank attached to her in a Neonatal Intensive Care bed.
Zhao Chou sighed rocking back and forth with Shaotian asleep in her arms and said, "The doctors said her womb ruptured and there was accessive bleeding. She's in an induced coma to heal and might stay longer in hospital as well. The baby was fine when your brother was still here but she suddenly stopped breathing. They resuscitated her and now she is on oxygen support.”
