Petal's POV

I was tired!! Not like I had done anything severe or hectic today but being able to survive after staying in the same room with that beast in human and wolf form was quite a hard job. It felt hard to breathe when I was with that demon and I commended myself for not passing out with every passing second I was with her.

My whole body ached due to the impact of how he rough handled me so I decided to rest my body a bit.

I followed the connecting door from the laundry to my corner and laid down.

I was about dozing off to la la land when I abruptly felt the presence of someone behind me.

"Zara." I yelped as I stood up immediately.

"Are you done with the laundry and dishes?." She asked with a hint of irritation in his voice.

"I remember vividly that you said I should be done before sunset and if my memory is still intact, it's way before sunset." I explained just to piss her off more.

"Whatever, just be done quickly because you're part of the maids that would serve this evening
