Petal's POV

Gawdddd, what is this now? What has happened? I'm in the freaking arms of the alpha prince and i dont want to even stand up. Hehe.

My wolf felt so relaxed in his arms and i couldn't help but sigh, ive just wondering myself the embarrassment of the year award.

"Get off my body, you stinking fool." He yelled and zara immediately shoved me to a corner.

I landed with my butt to the floor and whimpered in pain.

With tears in my eyes, I looked up to stare at the dreadful people that has vowed not to stop until i took in my last breath, fortunately and unfortunately, i let my gaze kibger on the alpha prince for a moment too long.

"Fuck, Mate!!!!." He whusoered but i heard him as everyone on the alpha tabke turned to look at mr wide eyed.

No wonder my wolf felt so calm with him, wwww.....now my fate is sealed!!!

Whispers flew in from different directions, while my wolf rejoiced in gladness but some how i knew that this was the dawn of a new problem for me.

I was barely coping handking the eerie treatnent for tlhe head maid and alpha and now we are adding the

Alpha prince to that count.

"How dare you? How is such a weakling and slave lije you my mate?." He telled as he sent a blow to my mouth. Blood immediately spranged out as hot liquid gushed all over my face.

As he held my neck, almost choking breather out of me, i managed to stand up and face him.

"Its none of my fault that you were mated to a weakling like me, is it? After all, the moon goddess chosen to mate us and secondly, just tell me what exactly you can do about this shit that we are both in? If you reject me, you'll ripping apart your chance of having a luna and—" I was explaining when abkther dazzling slap came from Zara.

It was as if all eyes were on me, pr rather all eyes were on me as the whole party turned mute.

"I'm sure you're delighted to have the alpha prince as your mate." She said sarcastically with a smirk on her face.

"Hahahaha, whoever told you that pied to you big time. Who said i wanted an alpha? Who said i wanted a life where i lived with so many rules. The same way he despises filthy and stinking servants is the sane way i despise egoistic and arrogant Alpha's." I concluded and everyone gasped including the King.

"Keep him if you want Zara, i assure you that within two weeks, you'll want to return him." I stated and everyone gasped again.

If the alpha prince thinks he has a sharp tongue, I'll show him that my tongue was a sword, a sharp blade itself.

"How dare you defile your Prince?." Zara growled as her looks threw daggers at me.

"Oh please excuse me! How dare I defile him huh? I've been working my sweat out the whole day continuously for years, I haven't even had a meal for today, I feel confused and frustrated. I continue working and serving and then meet someone I've heard of my whole life and then out of the blue's, he calls me his mate and blames me instead of the moon goddess. I mean, who in their right senses would question me about that? Did I mate myself to him? Am I the one doing the matchmaking? Answer me." I poured out angrily as I wondered why everyone suddenly seems to lack sense and keep blaming me for everything.

"What did you expect Petal? A warm hug and kisses with little smooches huh? You're a weak omega and have nothing to offer so tell me why you should be the next to be Luna?" Someone queried, I think it's one of the maids but today, I am not in the mood for these rubbish, I'm giving everyone their cup of tea cause I'm damn hungryyyyyy.

"Now who's that fool speaking? I have nothing to offer right? But I serve literally everyone in this pack, isn't it something to offer? You know what, I think I'm the only leader in this pack because without me y'all be dead by now. Who would prepare your food and serve you in bed? Who would run your bath water and add enough scent oils?." I questioned with blood lust eyes. I wasn't to be judged for everything that happened before I was born.

"Wow, now I see you want to crown yourself Alpha?." The Luna stated sarcastically with a slight smirk on her face.

My stomach growled one more time out of hunger and it pissed me off, someone should get me some food, heck!

It felt like the whole world was swirling amd I couldn't take this anymore. I was serving sumptuous meals to people that didn't even appreciate my efforts yet I was hungry.

Fuck that shit! If I won't fall dead them I need a meal right now.

Forgetting everything that was ongoing and the hard glares and glowers directed at me, I digged into the alpha prince food on the table and started feeding the worms that threatened to eat my intestines.

I raised my head shortly only to get the irritated looks of the alpha prince and everyone present, they were all watching. The goddess only knew what was running in their heads, I mean technically they'd be wondering how the future Luna should be someone disgusting as me.

Well, who am I to care? I continued my delicious meal till I almost had my fill but the alpha prince words made the food choke me up.

"Dad, let her be my personal maid." He said while eyeing me irritatedly.

*Coughs* *coughs* *cough cough cough* Oh my Lord, I need water.

I grabbed a jar of water and gulped it down then swerved only to meet the heavy stares of the other maids.

If looks could kill, my funeral would be ongoing now.

I get it, they are jealous but what's fun about been the personal maid of a rude and arrogant so called prince.

"NO!!!!!!!!!!."

PetalThe weight of Fraye’s threat still hung in the air, but the moment Ansel stepped into the clearing with Hansel by his side, a spark of hope ignited in my chest.I controlled shouting my lungs out.Their resemblance is however.... striking. My son. My beautiful boy was safe, though his wide, frightened eyes told me he had endured more than any child should. I rushed to Hansel, dropping to my knees as I pulled him into my arms. He clung to me tightly, his small body trembling against mine. “Mama,” he whispered, his voice cracking. I kissed the top of his head, silent tears streaming down my face. “Shh, it’s okay now,” I murmured, though I wasn’t entirely sure it was true. My heart ached, knowing he’d been used as a pawn in this vicious game. But I couldn’t let my emotions rule me. Not yet. Not when there was still so much at stake. I looked up at Ansel, his expression a mix of relief and fury. “Thank you,” I said softly. He nodded, but his jaw remained tight. “This isn’t o

  • The Untamed One    Threats

FreyaI had always been good at reading people. It was a skill I prided myself on, one that had served me well over the years. But lately, it was impossible to ignore the way Ansel’s eyes lingered on Petal. The subtle shift in his tone when he spoke to her. The way he seemed to gravitate toward her without even realizing it. It made my stomach churn. He was my mate. My *second chance mate*. The one person who was supposed to be mine and mine alone. But instead of the love and devotion I deserved, he was giving it to *her*. Petal Brooks. The name itself was like poison on my tongue. She was a thorn in my side, a threat to everything I had fought so hard to secure. And now, as if her presence wasn’t already unbearable, I could see the cracks forming in Ansel’s loyalty to me. ---One evening, I found myself pacing in my tent, the fabric walls doing little to muffle the rising storm in my chest. The memories of the past few days played on repeat in my mind—Ansel laughing with Pe

PetalThe moment Ansel hit the ground, a sickening thud echoed through the battlefield. My breath hitched as I froze, my eyes locked on his crumpled form lying several feet away. For a second, everything around me—the snarls, the growls, the clash of claws—fade into silence. Then, the monstrous creature roared again, snapping me back to reality. Its blood-red eyes locked onto me, and it charged, its massive body barreling through everything in its path. “Petal, move!” Logan’s voice sliced through the chaos. Instinct took over. I dove to the side, the creature’s claws slicing through the air where I’d been just seconds before. My heart pounded as I scrambled to my feet, adrenaline coursing through me. ---I glanced toward Ansel. Melissa was already at his side, checking his pulse. “He’s alive!” she shouted, relief clear in her voice. “But barely!” That was enough for me. He wasn’t dead—yet. “Get him out of here!” I commanded. “Logan, cover them!” Logan nodded, rushing t

  • The Untamed One    Battle lines

PetalThe forest was alive with tension. Every sound—the crunch of a leaf, the faint rustle of branches—felt louder, sharper, as if the night itself was holding its breath. We moved silently through the dense trees, the cool air wrapping around us like a cloak. I kept my warriors close, my senses heightened. Beside me, Ansel walked with a quiet confidence, his sharp eyes scanning the surroundings. For a moment, I glanced at him, watching the way his jaw tightened as we approached the clearing. He was focused, determined, and ready for the fight ahead. “Are your warriors in position?” I asked him in a hushed tone. “They’re ready,” he replied, his voice steady. “What about yours?” I turned my head slightly, meeting Melissa’s gaze. She gave me a firm nod, her hand resting on the hilt of her blade. “We’re always ready.” As we reached the edge of the clearing, I signaled for everyone to halt. We crouched low, the shadows of the trees blending with our figures. Across the clearin

Alpha AnselYes, we just experienced firsthand fight and it was nothing. We warded them off easily.I couldn’t stop staring at her as we walked back toward the camp. Petal—no, Alpha Rieka, as she now called herself—wasn’t the same person I remembered. The girl I once knew was quiet, timid, and unsure of herself. But the woman walking beside me now… she was fire and steel. Her steps were confident, her head held high. She barely spared me a glance, her sharp gaze scanning the woods around us. She didn’t trust me—of that I was certain. But then again, I wasn’t sure I trusted her either. “Why did you agree to help us?” I asked finally, breaking the silence. She didn’t slow down, didn’t even look at me. “An alliance benefits both our packs,” she said simply. “That’s the official reason,” I replied. “But what’s the real one?” This time, she stopped and turned to face me. The moonlight filtered through the trees, casting silvery glow on her face. Her expression was unreadable, but

PetalAs Ansel walked up to me, every one of my warriors stood on alert. I didn’t need to say a word—they could sense the tension crackling in the air like a coming storm. Ansel stopped a few feet in front of me, his eyes searching mine. “Can we talk alone for a moment?” he asked. His voice was deep but laced with something softer—something that made me uneasy. I narrowed my eyes at him. Alone? Was he serious? Every instinct screamed at me not to trust him. My warriors shifted on their feet, ready to jump in at the slightest signal. Melissa stepped up beside me, her hand casually brushing against the dagger strapped to her belt. “You don’t have to go anywhere with him,” she muttered under her breath. “We can talk right here.” “I’ll be fine,” I said, though I wasn’t entirely sure I believed it myself. I turned back to Ansel. “Lead the way. But just so you know, if this is a trick, my warriors will turn your camp into dust before you can blink.” He didn’t respond to my thre
