[C108]The Baby Dragon

Dmitri's POV:

I looked towards the egg as it was hatching with wide eyes, biting my lower lip as my sister hugged me, holding me down. I had tried to pick the egg up so many times already and she kept scolding me, telling me not to mess with it because I might hurt it. My eggy~ Excitement coursed through me as I tapped my fingers against my legs, counting the seconds as I heard my dragon working it's way out to me. Would it love me? Would it recognize me? What if I left it alone too long at the mansion?! I watched as one claw managed to get through it's egg shell  for the first time, cracking it with it's sharp talon. I gasped and widened my eyes, a purr escaping me as I rushed forward but she yanked me back, making me sit. I heard it starting to cry a little and suddenly sneezed.
