Run you little human

After returning to the office with the coffee in hand, Ariel just watched the man as he drank the coffee slowly while going through some documents. Her job felt so boring. She just sat on a couch in the office waiting for his next order.

Sebastian noticed how monotonous everything felt for her and he said "You can go out now. Take a break. I don't really need anything now". Ariel was momentarily enchanted by his voice before she said "oh ohk". Standing up from the couch, she decided to go to a restaurant opposite the company since she hadn't had breakfast yet.

She walked out of the office and took a quick glance at the man to make sure he really didn't need anything. Sebastian only nodded his head and this was enough to convince Ariel that the man didn't need her help now. Crossing the street, Ariel got to the restaurant and ordered French toast and chocolate milk. Before she could start eating, two rugged looking men bumped into her and all the food fell on the floor.

"What's your problem?" Ariel asked obviously annoyed. But the two men only laughed and pulled Ariel with them. "Let me go...let me go you punks" she said as she did her best to kick them but to no avail. The people in the restaurant only stood and watched, it was like this wasn't a new thing for them to witness.

Ariel did all she could to free herself but it was just a waste of time. As they were about putting her in their truck, two macho men bounced out of nowhere. They pulled Ariel away from rugged looking men and started beating them to pulp. After the rugged looking men were almost as good as dead, they let them go. With their blood stained hands, they led Ariel back to the company and straight to the CEO's office. Sebastian was sitting on his chair, staring right at the door when they walked in. The men presented Ariel before Sebastian and walked out.

He stared at her from head to toe and found out that she now had a small bruise on her white leg. "Next time when you're hungry, tell Theresa and she'll take you to the company's cafeteria" he said still looking at her leg. The atmosphere in the room was getting thicker and thicker like a knife could actually cut through it. But in a millisecond, Ariel's rumbling stomach broke the cold atmosphere and Sebastian finally took off his eyes from  her leg to her stomach and then to her face. He stared straight in her eyes and Ariel's heart skipped at beat. But this eyes spoke "Do what I said earlier!" and Ariel understood perfectly but before she could go out of the office, he continued "When you're back, there's a first aid kit in my drawer" and Ariel nodded before going to meet Theresa.

When the woman saw her, concern was written all over her faced as she asked "What happened?". Ariel sighed before saying "Long story....Please where's the cafeteria?" Theresa stared at her for a moment before saying "Come with me".

After getting to the cafeteria, Ariel explained everything to her and the lady could only console her and they ordered some food. Few minutes later, Ariel went back to Sebastian's office and went to his drawer, close to where he was sitting. Unknowingly to her, the first two buttons of her white inner shirt had pulled off from the ruckus that happened at the restaurant and now, her white and beautiful cleavage was in full view to Sebastian. He stared at her cleavage for a while before retracting his eyes. Soon, Ariel found the mini first aid box and she took it out of the drawer. Facing Sebastian, she found out that his ears were blazing red. Seeing this reaction only made Ariel blush too before saying "Thank you" and walking to the couch.

She was applying an ointment on her bruise when Theresa walked in and said "Sir, he's here". She must be really close to Sebastian to have just barged into his office like that. Ariel thought.

Few seconds later, an unwanted visitor barged in. Someone that Ariel never expected to see was actually here. She knew it...she knew Sebastian was either a part of these creatures or he was something else. But definitely not a normal person. But now, it was confirmed. He was part of these unruly creatures. Ariel's breath quickened as her eyes settled on the man that just walked in. Michael Walter. She looked at him and Sebastian wanting to run out of the office immediately. But her "boss" here won't definitely allow that. So she stayed put even though her heart was in chaos.

Michael hadn't noticed her presence yet. He just chatted with Sebastian in a low tone but the temperature in the room felt bone chilling. It was like there was an unground battle between the two. Sebastian only said few words as he started at Mike who looked like he was angry about something. As Micheal was about to leave the office in anger, he sighted Ariel and chuckled darkly staring straight at her and the only thing in Ariel's mind at that moment were the words he said to her in her dream. "Run you little human....run!" And it looked like he was invading her mind, saying those words again before he left the office.

Ariel was stuck on the couch, lost in thoughts. Sebastian noticed how much she was sweating and called out to her "Ariel" but he got no answer. It was like she was lost in an abyss.

He stood up from his chair and walked up to her but as soon as he got close enough, Ariel jolted and moved away from his reach. Sebastian creased his brows in confusion. What happened? He asked himself.

After gaining herself, Ariel asked "Please can I ask for permission to go outside?" and a scowl appeared in  Sebastian's beautiful face before he nodded and Ariel ran out of the office. She needed a break to think all this through. How did that creature know Sebastian? We're they working together to kill her?. Alot of questions popped in Ariel's head.....
